Uncommunicative and untrustworthy
Boiler isn't working so we have no heating. Sent an enquiry via the website and left it a few days, no response so texted. Finally got a response that way beginning of last week saying he couldn't come out that week but would be able to fit us in the week after (this week) to which we agreed. No contact since then despite my following up and have now spent over a week in a cold house for no reason when I could have just hired another company.

As you are aware we are a small family owned business and sorry I didn't respond to the none urgent enquiries at the weekend when i was spending time with my family,
I did respond to the Sunday Night call though to find it was only a question that could have waited until business hours.
As I said at the time I was really busy and couldn't fit you in straight away which you were happy with at the time as it was only an intermittent fault, so either the cold house is a slight fabrication of the truth or it got worse to which you never made me aware of.
Sorry the time scale wasn't to your expectations but you could have gone straight to the other company in the first place when I made you aware from the start how busy I was.
I try to give my customer the best value for money by keeping my business small and overheads low which means I don't have multiple staff that work 24 hours a day, my loyal customer base is aware of this and happy to wait as the job is done right!, they also know when the job is a genuine emergency i will do everything possible to accommodate them.
