Very impressed with the showroom and quote experience from County. Nick took the time to talk us through the different options and was really straightforward to deal with and very pleasant, no hard sell or pressure. Although we haven't been able to go ahead with new windows at this time, I would happily return to Nick and County when we can.

So far the process has been good. I’ve only got as far as ordering the windows, not had them installed yet. I did have to chase quite a bit to get the quote, but have found the company to be responsive and courteous.

I moved into my home 6 months ago, and started getting double glazing quotes for the whole house. I am a lady in my 60's, living alone, and always feel that getting around 3 or 4 quotes is a sensible judgment.
Sadly with one salesman I literally had to ask the guy to leave my house, because he was pressuring me to sign paperwork there and then. Please never feel pressured into signing any agreement, if the company won't allow you to have space to think things through, then they are not are not worth working with.

However, on a positive note I decided to visit, COUNTY THE HOME IMPROVERS, as they had their January sale on. I had actually not chosen them before, because I thought they may be too expensive for me - I was completely wrong!

The big relaxed Showroom in Heathfield, offers a range of products to suit all budgets. The staff are experienced, friendly and helpful, but will leave you alone if you just want a wander. When Mark came round to quote, I was pleasantly surprised to find not only the quality of the product, which of course is important, but the amazing deal I was offered in the January sale.

I could not be more impressed, although the windows have not been fitted yet (update once these have been fitted), I have found the transparency and communication from Mark, welcoming. There is no hard sell, just good honest clear communication.

I have no hesitation in recommending, COUNTY THE HOME IMPROVERS, for quality windows at a great price.

Alan was helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. As a result we have placed an order and look forward to having our new windows installed.

We have recently had new windows plus a front door fitted and we are delighted with the results. Kevin and Mitchell were exemplary in their work and we cannot praise them highly enough. We therefore give them 5 Trustpilot stars. Fitted 10-17January 2024.

Kevin and Mitch are two very nice guys. They were both polite and efficient and we were very pleased to have them working in our house. They did an excellent job, cleared up afterwards and explained the working of locks etc before leaving. I highly recommend them and the lovely new doors to our house.

All went smoothly following our visit to your showrooms ( although a previous telephone call and text were unanswered). Alan was very helpful when we made the order and Jason and Ashton could not be faulted on installing the new roof. We are very happy with this.

This is the second time we’ve used the company. First time just bathroom windows. This time several bedroom windows and new front/back door. Excellent service - from initial discussion, installation and aftercare. Will be using them again!

We had a very good experience with County for some new windows and a patio door. The initial salesman was knowledgeable and gave good advice and didn't try to upsell things we didn't need. The fitter was brilliant and left everything looking lovely. You wouldn't really know he had been (apart from the lovely new windows!)

The install took one week during not very good weather. Phil & Ryan were a pleasure to have as “visitors”, punctual, hard working & tidy.
Communicated the state of play & snags as they arose. All in all a great job, well executed. Thank you.

Have used County numerous times for more than 10 years or so and have always received excellent service and follow up care. Recently, a small issue with my new front door was promptly sorted by Julie in the admin team, and Phil, one the regular fitters who has always been so friendly and helpful.

Fantastic new front door! We decided on a Timber Windows front door and side windows and were pointed in the direction of County Home Improvers. Their service was faultless. They were happy to tweak my design a few times until I was absolutely satisfied. The product is an outstanding one - high quality, very well made. On the day of installation, they arrived on time, removed our old front door and side windows and replaced it with the new ones within hours. They were professional, tidy and their workmanship was excellent. Overall, we could not be happier with our new entrance. Well worth spending a bit extra to get a top quality product!

We had a uPVC back door fitted. It looks great, was reasonably priced and everything went well and as expected.

The contract was top replace just 2 windows. The windows, when they arrived were lovely, however the fitting turned into a nightmare. They had omitted to order the finishing trim leaving a large gap between the windows and the window appeture. After much tooting and froing, they got a local joinery shop to make the trim. It took months from the windows arriving on site and the job being finished. Their internal communications is diabolical and communication with customer non existent. I spent many hours on the phone trying to get the job finished. As mentioned in another review, the office assistants in both finance and operations are the only reason anything happens. Hats off to you two. Final tip, don't agree to the contract terms which require 90% of total price before they will fit the windows. As I said, a nightmare experience. However the actual windows from Timber Windows are excellent.

Great very good products with professional and timely fitting, would definitely use again and highly recommend.
