Seven months later and still claim…

Seven months later and still claim outstanding. Truly awful customer service. A string of texts saying how busy they were but no action. Last thing you need at a time of stress with sick pet. Avoid at all costs.

Awfully shocked with lack of customer…

Awfully shocked with lack of customer service. Claimed I agreed to 15 per cent charge? I will be escalating to ombudsman.

How many times do they send automated response? So many unhappy customers with same response

Very poor service

Vet sent claim form in on 27th April, 4 weeks later nothing received from CMP. Took 30 minutes on phone, l pay by DD but CMP say they dont have my bank details, or email details.

They send me marketing emails BUT dont have my email address

This is 2022 but CMP are like a dodgy firm from the 80's.

Won't be renewing !

Update, have just received an email that they will be processing my refund, shouldn't have had to wait and only refunded after l contacted them

This company is a complete joke don’t…

This company is a complete joke don’t use them don’t trust them, they will use any and everything not to pay a claim.
I would not bother wasting your money, put a little bit aside every month a least you will have something to pay the vet bill when you crapping Insurance company comes up with an excuse not to pay.
They should all be investigated and stopped.

Do not use this company they are…

Do not use this company they are useless at almost everything.
I have had claims lost on multiple occasions upto the 4th submission with one and I am currently on hold as they cant find it (again). I have had a claim rejected as someone else's claim ended up in my file and all the while there is no communication at all from the company you have to ring up and undergo the arduous task of trying to unpick how on earth they have managed to mess up so badly each time. Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs.

Absolutely disgusted with cover my pet…

Absolutely disgusted with cover my pet insurance. My pet had over £500 of treatment, when it came to claiming it’s taken months then to be told the claim is void because my pet is overweight. My pet is not over weight, I have been on the phone to the emergency vets and normal vets who have both stated he isn’t. Also know where on his pet history does it state he has ever been over weight! Once being told that the vets can provide a letter confirming he is not over weight, cover my have cancelled my policy and will not allow me to access any of my documents! Our vets even advised they would never recommend this company and all they Have been told is the issues people have had! Apparently trying to say your dog is over weight is a common way for them not to pay out!

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible.
States on the policy they pay for the emergency vets which cost me over £400 and four months later after chasing and chasing for a reply finally received an email saying we are getting back £4 of the claim.
Absolute shambles of a company. Will be cancelling my insurance with them as soon as I can get them on the phone.
Avoid at all costs

Terrible company

Terrible company. Will do anything they can not to pay out. Apparently they wouldn’t pay because my dog wasn’t with me or a family member when she was injured. They assumed she wasn’t as she was with a family member. Rang and told them this but do not expect any reply.
Absolutely terrible company who only want you to pay them. Stay well clear

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, 6 weeks later and still nothing. Wish I'd read the reviews, absolute waste of time. ** I finally had some payment 2 and half months after first claim and I had to chase them for it.
I'm still waiting for another payment and that is from continuous claim, 4 weeks later still no payment. I really wouldn't recommend this Insurance company.

Your pet is not covered for out of hours vets and also the whole thing will take forever to settle if you need to claim AVOID AVOID AVOID !!! Any excuse not to pay up they will use. Please do not use these I cannot stress enough

Avoid !!!!…

Completely agree with everything written on other posts below. Absolute sham of a company looking for every reason not to pay. Didn’t just not pay but voided my policy meaning I am now paying a premium to insure my dog. Company needs shutting down and would advise anyone to avoid at all costs. Make it sound good then screw you over

Cover my is a scam..

Cover my is a scam...
My dog had to spend 2 days in the vets. Trying to claim back but they keep hanging the phone up on my. Used a different number to ring eventually got through then they hung up again. Now won't connect... I can't get hold of them. And don't know what to do. The stress of it all is just too much. We got the insurance because we can't afford to pay outright for treatment. We've had to borrow money of people and now can't claim back on it!!! Stay away from this insurance company. They are a joke

Delay after delay 😡

I have put a claim in with this company as my dog has had a cruciate injury.  My vet has advised he needs surgery but I am having to delay his treatment as I need my first lot of money back for the vet diagnosis fee.  I am getting increasingly frustrated being drip fed false promises and feel they are using constant delaying tactics.

My dog is suffering as he cannot walk and I am suffering from all the stress this is causing. I have never had to wait so long to get my money back from any other insurance company. I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS COMPANY TO INSURE YOUR DOG. Looking at the other reviews I'm wondering if I'm ever going to see my money again. Let's see if the offers of help are genuine on here as I have emailed Lorna Bradley. If it don't get this resolved soon I'm going through the small claims court!

Zero stars

Zero stars, stay clear. My own fault for not paying attention to the reviews.

Two months to process the claims which isn't that annoying really but losing 75% of the fee's we've already paid to the vets through covermypet deductions.

Staff have seemed decent enough when speaking to them, wont bad mouth them at this point but the whole experience is allot less fluid and straight forward as it was with say MoreThan and then the really long wait to get paid a few two hundred pounds for not far off a thousand pound bill is really poor.

I haven’t heard anything from my pet…

I haven’t heard anything from my pet claim for 6 weeks. It’s been on going since September! No customer service. No reply to my emails. Waiting for a large sum of money. Quick enough to take it but not pay you back. Joke of a company. Avoid

My dog had an emergency procedure to…

My dog had an emergency procedure to remove grass seed in July. My vet put a claim in for payment in mid August. All I've had is a letter asking to verify my pet's breed and my address a few weeks ago. No sign of any payment. The claim was in the region of £400 so a large sum. It is extremely frustrating as we take out insurance for this reason and months go by with no payment. Vets are prohibitively expensive and we rely on this cover.

CoverMyPet is a scam operation avoid

I just read the review by Gemma here. Same for me too. Delay after delay after delay. First submitted claim in early Jul, still getting drip fed questions with ten day delays between them. No payment. This appears to be a scam operation I really wouldn’t insure your dog with them. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid at all costs

Been waiting over 2 months now and nothing been told 3 times over they'll get to it in 10 days and still nothing, was told my policy didnt require an admin fee to change address and told told otherwise via email paid it anyway only for it to be a month and a half and 4 phone calls and god knows how long on hold and they still havent even changed my address nevermind accessed my claim terrible service would not reccomend

When I went to claim on a Pet insurance Policy I had with this so called Insurance Company when my dog had an accident, they will not pay out! TOTALLY USELESS PLEASE KEEP AWAY IF YOU NOT WANT YOUR PET TO SUFFER.
