They respond quickly and issues are always sorted quite quickly. Just replaced my microwave abd fridge freezer in less than a week. Delivery received already! Microwave soon to be delivered.
Very professional and helpful
Thank you so much for all your help I appreciate it. The contractors they use are helpful especially the company that came to fix my heating!

Warning! Don't use this company! Firstly they are not an insurance company as they are not regulated by anyone.
Secondly, the response they provided on this site was completely different from the direct response! They said they offered me a replacement oven, this was not the case. I've sent them two emails over the last two weeks but they have only responded on here! I don't even want a new oven from them. My current oven is only 6 years old and can be fixed.
They can not be trusted to fix an appliance so I just want the remainder of my cover refunded& my policy#not policy apparently dissolved.
I've had no response even though my cover was paid in full last year at the value of £300. I'm desperate to relinquish all ties with them and just get my money back as their contractors provide a poor& inadequate level of service.
I'm still waiting for picture evidence to prove my oven racks didn't go missing after the oven clean! @covertext please reimburse me for the outstanding cover funds on my account and I can look for a genuine insurance policy!

Atrocious service levels.
Case going on for over 3 months and still not resolved.
Same message twice this week from the servicing team "need to speak with my manager and promise to get back to you".
Have taken additional funds to original policy price to cover installation and removal of oven appliance and now I can't get a straight answer as to where my appliance is.
Avoid.

Absolutely appalling experience with this company.
I reported a fault with my washer dryer last September, Had to pay a £45 admin fee straight away. took more than a week to get an engineer. Told the part I needed was out of stock... Constantly had to chase then and Constantly fobbed off. eventually in December I had had enough and told them unless they had a week to sort something or I would report them. They then immediately deemed my £800 machine was not economically repairable and that they would only replace with a budget machine which I would have to buy and chase them for the money....
Really rude customer service agents, confrontational and made me feel like I was in the wrong.
Awful company
I have to say I am really surprised to see the negative reviews on here - whenever I have had to phone Covertxt, their staff have been incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. My dishwasher broke down earlier this year; not only did Covertxt get an engineer out asap, when it was diagnosed as past economical repair they didn't hesitate to make me a settlement offer and get a replacement dishwasher out to me. They even followed up afterwards to check that I was happy with the new appliance. Very happy so far. And the cover is costing me less than half of what I used to pay British Gas!! Mike has also been chasing me to make sure I get a boiler service booked in ahead of winter - very organised and clearly want to keep their customers happy and make sure we get everything we pay for under our policy. Great customer service, Covertxt!
Have a close look at your bank account, they took £20.00 of me without my permission, I have now been reimbursed,
Give this company a very wide berth
Very dissapointed with this company. Will not be using again. Avoid at all cost. They could not repair my tv 65inc lg paid 1800. Was offered £215 (joke). I went out and bought a new tv for £650 cash from a independant electronic facebook seller. Sent in vat reciept to claim the measly £215 was told this is not a invoice. I was advised if the tv seller can confirm by a letter of purchase then we can issue the payment. Tv seller kindly agreed and asked what to write. I dictated the information and he sent it from his email on his letterhead.
I got a email accusing me of fraud for i wrote the purchase letter and also want a paper trail of the £650 cash i paid unless they will investigate for money laundering (another joke)
I have given them 14 days to pay. No more communications with them. If not paid i will be putting a claim in and providing all the info and defaming evidence to the courts.
AVOID AT ALL COST!!
I really get stressed when any of my appliances break down as it seems to bring the productivity of the house to a halt.
Recently my tumble dryer has broken down and Jocey has been brilliant.
The Tumble Dryer that had broken was still under warranty with another company (external company) Jocey chased them up for me and let them know it wasn't exceptable when they didn't turn up intially as they had planned. Jocey also telephoned me back with updates when she said she would, which I personally value.
Thank you Jocey, I appreciate it.
Jocey dealt with our enquiry immediately. Within minutes I had received both an email and telephone message following up our enquiry. Excellent service - thank you!
Amazing service lovely engineer went above and beyond to help me with my dishwasher.
So impressed with the whole experience, I made a call to report the fault, received a call from the engineers the next day, got booked in for the end of the week, assessed and new part fitted all within a week.

Easy to book engineer's visit.
They came on the appointment date emailed to me.
The engineer was really great.
Polite, friendly, tidy and mended the machine efficiently and with no fuss.
I can thoroughly recommend.

I have been with Covertxt for almost 3 years. They successfully repaired my range cooker last year but last week unfortunately my washing machine was diagnosed beyond economical repair. Covertxt sent me a list of available options including a free of charge option. I sent the form back , new machine was ordered by them on Tuesday and installed by AO yesterday. Amazing service from start to finish, well worth my monthly premiums.

Had most of my white goods insured over the past 2 years however the renewal went up by £80 pounds via email no letter and I had to call them to inform them that they should have put down what I paid last year and it should have been in a letter by not putting last years price thye boke the rules on insurance when I asked for an explanation no one has got back to me, not good really

I have had an awful experience with this company ranging from them clearly lying and advising me that I was in a yearly contract and could not cancel until x date or had to pay a cancellation fee despite having previously told me that I was on a month to month rolling contract. When challenged, they accepted that I actually was not tied in but was on a month to month rolling contract but would have to pay the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee was waived after a formal complaint was put in. They also accused me of trying to falsely claim when there were aware of all the facts. They then backed down on this. When they came to deal with my claim for a washing machine which is only 4 years and was over £1k at the time of purchase, the engineer turned up without an appointment and now they have claimed that my machine is beyond economic repair and have offered me £261 towards a new machine?! There is no way that a washing machine could depreciate so much in value over that period of time. Absolute crooks.
In response to your reply:
There was no confusion. I asked clear questions and policy numbers were given. It is a fact that I was told one thing and then another. It was only when I challenged it and sought to make a complaint did you confirm that I was correct. Also, you offer renewal at a hiked up cost. I am in the process of my claim and the BER settlement you have offered is a clear attempt to scam me as it is not even based upon your own terms and conditions. Therefore I stand by my original review.

Very expensive for what you get and any company that employs a rolling contract clause has no need to commit to good levels of customer service; it's simply relying on the fact that customers forget to give notice and then are tied in again. In effect, they're asking you to sign up to a new contract before you know what the cost will be (unless you give notice at the start of the new contract); licence to print money. Apparently, providing renewal notifications is a courtesy to customers as opposed to a requirement, but without it how do you know how much the new contract will be? When it is sent, it's well outside the 30-day cancellation period so you're either stuck with a huge increase for another year or you pay a penalty to cancel... Very poor practice.
