The COVID Symptom Study app is a not-for-profit initiative that was launched at the end of March 2020 to support vital COVID-19 research. The app was launched by health science company ZOE with scientific analysis provided by King’s College London. With over 4 million contributors globally, the Study is the world’s largest ongoing study of COVID-19.

Zoe Health Study - where are you?

I and my wife have been contributing to Zoe Health Study since covid struck. I noticed that the number of contributors has remained static at 4,817,477 for more than 2 years. This is very suspicious. I wondered if our data is still of value and I have emailed Zoe for the past year or so. No reply. I commented about this on another Zoe branch in February and was asked to give more information. I supplied this and have heard nothing.

Great Concept

It’s a great idea, but the app is a bit buggy. Unfortunately, there is no means of giving feedback. For instance, I reported symptoms which were clearly a reaction to the AZ vaccine but I still get invited to do a COVID test.
