Just called Cox & Kings for a quote for a holiday to India, firstly the lady miscalculated my holiday days as she was looking at a different month, she told me there wasn't a 28th March ?!!
Then she said she couldn't help as we're going to a wedding and we had our own accommodation booked for 5 days. They won't look at anything under 7 days accommodation (ours was 6 days needing extra hotels etc), we could have extended the holiday by a day but at this point she'd been so uninterested and abrasive that I'll go with Audley who were really lovely and super flexible. They have also arranged a driver and day trips when we are at the wedding accommodation. Very disappointed, lost a customer forever.

I am sincerely sorry that you felt the Sales Consultant was uninterested and abrasive. Having listened to the call I accept that the dates were confused at the time, however, I found the consultant to be clear and precise and apologetic when it was realised that you wanted to use our services for accommodation only for a short period, which sadly we cannot offer due to internal company policy.
Nonetheless, I shared the call with our Sales Manager so that the content can be reviewed to improve communication in the future and I would like to thank you for raising this with us.
I apologise again for any disappointment in the service received on this occasion and I would like to wish you an enjoyable trip to India.

Very well organised holiday and good group size
Excellent trip that really covered all aspects of Peru so that you felt immersed in the culture and sights of the country - and not just Machu Picchu.
A very well planned itinerary led us gently through the acclimitisation so that we could cope with 14,000 ft levels at points. It was essential for me to visit Machu Picchu a second day and not feel rushed or short-changed with a quick 2hr visit then moving on (as most tour companies do), so this itinerary from Cox & Kings is perfect. I also liked the choice of extension options and being able to do Paracas and the Nazca Lines. Why go all the way to Peru and not do everything?!
Finally, the tour guides were excellent as was the accommodation.

Exhausting but worth it!
Overall, an excellent trip. Our tour guide, Mario, was brilliant. He really looked after us and went above and beyond. Heavy touring schedule; lots of walking, lots of coach travel (thanks also to our driver). The first hotel was great. The second hotel, not so much, which was very disappointing. In terms of what you see v value for money = outstanding.

We had an amazing time in Peru, a definite 10 !!
The guide Francisco was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was excellent and the trips were well
organised and great local guides .
The train journey was amazing and had delicious food . The tasting evening was an awesome experience.
There were so many highlights 😄
We had a great group and the size of 14 was perfect . The transport was very comfortable .

DREAM TRIP TO UZBEKISTAN. It has been my daughter's long…
It has been my daughter's long cherished dream to visit part of the Silk Road and especially the fabled cities of Samarkand, Khiva and Bukhara. Our tour in May of this year was organised by Cox & Kings. From our first contact to the last all went perfectly smooth. Transport, accommodation, tour guides and above all our visits to memorable, stunning monuments and places exceeded our expectations. It was a breath taking experience never to be forgotten. Uzbekistan is well worth a visit. We met truly lovely Uzbek people wherever we went! We would happily go go back to Cox & Kings for our next adventure.

Trip to Amalfi coasr
Our trip to the Amalfi coast staying in Caserta and near Sorrento was great. All the local guides were good, particularly the one who was with us throughout the trip, who went the extra mile. The inclusive trips were all good. The hotel in Caserta (which could have been a bit better appointed) was very well placed for the town and the one on Vice Equense was an attractive boutique hotel with wonderful views and lovely staff.

Uzbekistand: The Golden Road to Samarkand with Cox and Kings
This incredible central Asian holiday offers a fascinating journey through the history, landscape, culture and politics of past and modern-day Uzbekistan. Our local guide was excellent and the participation of a regional history expert really added to the experience. Accommodation was great. The food is fabulous, though be patient when ordering and remember English is not everyone's first language. Vegetarians are well catered for with grilled vegetables.

Superbly Organised Tour of Sicily
Great communication from first enquiry through to feedback. Saw most of the top sights in Sicily, led by a guide with extensive knowledge of the history, architecture, and decoration of the buildings. Stayed in comfortable and hospitable 4* hotels, all of which provided buffet breakfasts with huge choice. Highly recommended.

Well organised trip to Naples & the…
Well organised trip to Naples & the Amalfi coast, excellent Tour Leader who went above and beyond recommending local eateries & events, and advising on what to see and do in the free days.
The tour had two hotels, one in Caserta which was well located but a little dated and tired (although spotlessly clean) and a second near Sorrento which was bright and clean with excellent staff and food but a slightly poorer location requiring the use of the shuttle bus or taxis to visit anywhere.
Overall I would score the whole holiday as 9/10.

Our Morocco Trip
The trip was well-planned and everything went smoothly. It was all really interesting and we felt we knew the country much better at the end of the trip.
Our guide Samir was wonderful, well-informed, thoughtful and imaginative in dealing with peoples' needs. Our driver Mohammad was superb, especially on the windy mountain roads and his assistant Ahmed was infinitely polite and helpful.

First Class Customer Service from Cox & Kings
First class customer service from Cox & Kings on a booking we made for a personalised trip to Albania and Corfu. Throughout the booking process, Matthew was so incredibly helpful, informative and professional. His suggestions for the tour itinerary were way beyond our expectations and he took time and patience in tweaking things to make sure we were getting the best possible experience. Unfortunately due to my husband becoming seriously ill just a month before departure we had to cancel our trip. Even then Matthew was so helpful in helping us through the cancellation process and putting everything into effect so swiftly. He was so supportive throughout. We were naturally disappointed that we had to cancel our trip but due to the superb customer service we received from Cox & Kings and, in particular, Matthew we shall definitely be using for them for future holidays.
