The tour itinerary for Cuba was well thought out and the local agents handled all the local issues well. Cuba isnt perhaps the easiest place to travel so expect the unexpected. We went 1 week after the national blackout for 3 days, so this was a bit of a concern, but Cox & Kings handled this well by making some changes to the accommodation to ensure we would still be comfortable.

A fantastic tour. Every aspect was perfect.

Our Grand Tour of India was an excellent tour, covering many wonderful sights and experiences. To do that, there is a lot of internal travelling and things can go wrong, but that is outside Cox and King’s control and travellers must be willing to accept those challenges as and when they occur.
We stayed in a number of hotels in various locations, as no hotel stay was longer than 2 nights. Some hotels were very modern, with all amenities, and some were older with more character but weaker on room facilities.
In summary, we had a fabulous trip. The itinerary was very full and a lot was crammed in, but we had no problem with that. The staff that C&K employ were excellent at all levels - bus driver, his assistant and local office staff in different cities.
We would recommend this tour without hesitation

We enjoyed the holiday very much. It was a good and interesting
itinerary led by a superb guide and tour leader, Dilip Fernando.
Everything was well planned and on time. Sri Lanka is a lovely
country with very friendly, hospitable and smiley people. The standard
of accommodation was excellent generally, although the last hotel
could have been better. The group got on well. Happy to recommend Cox and Kings to others and likely to travel again with them, as we have done several times.

Annoying: Repeated requests for details, despite my phone call explaining that passport
being renewed. Also, flights not yet booked.

We had an amazing 16 day tour of Rajasthan. We chose Cox and Kings for the small group size (max. 18 and we were lucky that there were just 6 on our tour!); the variety of 5-star accommodation (modern, ex-palaces, safari lodge) and a tour itinerary that involved less road travel (we arrived in Mumbai, had an internal flight, and then departed from Delhi).
The tour included visits to spectacular forts, palaces, temples, a scenic train journey (and of course the Taj Mahal) all of which are well preserved and larger and more impressive in real-life than on any photos! We were lucky enough to see Bengal tigers in the wild in Ranthambore, which was truly wonderful. The local cuisine was tasty and varied in the hotels and the high quality meant we enjoyed all our meals. Wine was expensive, so we opted more for the Kingfisher beer which was reasonable. Our tour dates included Diwali and we enjoyed the celebrations at our hotel, which included a fantastic buffet and fireworks.
Our guide, Rachna, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, not only when visiting the tourist attractions, but on Indian history and culture in general. Rachna made sure everything ran smoothly - checking in/out of our hotels and entry into all tourist attractions (navigating the queues and local traders). Rachna made sure that everyone’s interests were considered, the group had a lot of fun together and Rachna took lots of photos of us all to bring wonderful memories home. We must also mention our tour bus driver, Dharan, who was punctual, courteous and very experienced in navigating through the busy town centres (avoiding oncoming traffic, and stationary cattle!).
Some practical info: bottled water was provided by our guide every day and in all the hotels. We took insect repellent but the group only had a couple of bites all holiday. Some days the sightseeing itinerary was busy but the dry heat meant walking around was not too hot or tiring (comfortable in long sleeve shirts and trousers to visit the temples). All hotels had Wi-Fi but you need to take an Indian plug adapter. We took Sterling, which was easy to exchange (better rates outside the airport). Credit cards are accepted by hotels and shops. We tipped individually for some meals and as a group for hotels/excursions/guide/driver.
This was our first experience of India and of an organised tour. We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely fantastic time in Jordan. C&K made everything smooth with supported pick ups and a great driver and perfect guides and the sites. Amazing experience and so safe , considering the troubling times , the local people as so genuine and I truly wish other can travel and get the same experience.

The whole Exotic India (Solos) tour was excellent, and all the group got on well, and I would have no hesitation in recommending C&K to friends and family.
Ash the guide was outstanding, putting everything into context and providing lots of stories about both the characters from history and his own experience. His knowledge was amazing and he was able to sort any minor issues rapidly as well as reorganising the day in Udaipur when the death of a VIP meant that everything was closed until mid afternoon. Both the driver (Sandy) and driver's assistant (Mr Kumar) were friendly and effective, and I always felt safe when travelling in the chaotic traffic in both the cities and on the main roads.
The hotels were very comfortable, with very good food and facilities, although the Deogarh Mahal could do with upgrades to the air conditioning and fan systems in the rooms as both were very noisy. The lunch stops were also well organised by Ash, with Doctor Alone in Pushkar having a great setting and being my favourite.
Highlights for me were the Taj Mahal, seeing tigers at Ranthambore, and the Jain Temple at Ranakpur,
The one disappointment on the tour was the final meal at Rajbagh on Lake Pichola. The setting was good, but the food was very poor, with a plated mix of curry, pasta and vegetables, with pieces of chopped fruit and custard as the dessert. This was not at all what I was expecting as our final meal together, especially when the welcome meal at the Haveli Dharampura had been so enjoyable.

All reps were in place to meet us, except one. Hotels were good quality and trips were interesting. The only disappointment was the extra trip to a gaucho ranch in Buenos Aires that we paid 380 US dollars for. We were taken to a country farm for a bbq. The rep said she would report this obvious mistake but we have heard nothing back from Cox And Kings. The entire group felt this was a wasted day and very, very overpriced.

We had a wonderful trip to Patagonia. Having never used you before, we were delighted with the quality of service and excellent guides throughout the trip.
Sandra , who was our guide throughout the trip was outstanding.

Cox and Kings scored highly on many counts: Firstly, we were impressed with all the detailed information we received prior to travel. Such attention made us feel secure and well prepared in our desire to take on such a demanding but exciting adventure.
Secondly, our guide was second to none in all aspects and throughout the duration of the trip. He was friendly, informative, knowledgable and importantly, made every transition of our complicated itinerary as smooth and effortless as it could be.
Additionally, we enjoyed the variety of experience our trip provided: from chaotic cities, to a host of temples, forts and monuments to train rides and time in mountain areas with quality accommodation throughout- an a assault on the senses in every aspect!
Overall, a wonderful experience and as delighted customers we have booked our next trip with Cox and Kings to Costa Rica in 10 weeks time-it has a lot to live up to.

Excellent tour. Would have been a five star review except for quality of road transport

Silk Road trip to Uzbekistan with Cox &Kings, fantastic sights, itinerary full-on but couldn’t fault as we saw so much. Hotels and restaurants all very good. Our guide Babur was excellent, his knowledge was exceptional and was always happy to answer any questions. I travelled in a group as a single woman but was fine and felt perfectly safe. The people, food and country is so worth a visit.
