Fixings storage unit cheap and quick delivery
Order a fixings storage unit. It was the best price i could find on the internet, was free postage and arrived hassle free in no time! Would definitely use again. Top drawer.
Outstanding Service
Outstanding Service - order Gardening stuff at 14:52 and it was all here before lunch the folowing day - best of all no charge for postage and they were 30% less expensive than everyone else.
They sell allsorts of really useful stuff and I hadnt heard of them before but we be sure to use them again.
Poor Communication
Ordered on the 5th January. Expecting delivery within a few days. Had email order confirmation etc.
Didn't hear anything and no parcel arrived.
Contacted CPC - no reply.
Checked website item is now a back order item - nothing about this communicated to me.
So now I am in the situation where I don't know if this order is going to be fulfilled and if it is, when!
Not the kind of experience I was hoping for.
Edit: After posting this review, I received notification that my order had been delayed - but even further (at least another 2 weeks for an item that is widely available elsewhere - so almost 2 months). Completely impersonal correspondence (a pdf attached to a generic email) and no reply to my previous enquiries regarding the whereabouts of my order.
This review was removed with a suggestion it was fabricated. So I had to provide trust pilot with proof of my order and interactions with this company to get it reinstated.
I then requested that Farnell cpc cancel my order and provide confirmation that the order had been cancelled. They refused to provide confirmation of the cancellation via email.
Some really strange customer service decisions here - in my opinion of course.

If I could give more than 5 stars for customer care and service I would. Had an issue, not Farnell CPC fault, but they handled it so fast, so efficiently, and lovely people to communicate with. I was having trouble finding a certain adapter, CPC had it, and in various options. Great website , easy to follow,and superb choice. Nothing but praise for their service, and a big thank you to Caroline. Highly recommend this company.

Ordered sd cards for cameras. On ordering said 24-48 hours delivery. After 72 hours I messaged to check status. 48 hours later told they don't have any in stock until April. ie a deliveey of 2.4-4.8 months not 24-48 months. Not sure they would have even contacted me if I hadn't messaged. Massively inconvenienced me as had booked fitting for the cameras, had they just told me straight up they didn't have it would have just ordered from elsewhere.

Refund issues
I’d ordered some equipment for next day delivery and it was broken into two consignments, which is fine.
However, next day came and went with UPS failing to deliver. Second day came along and yet again the date was changed. Then the third and the forth and still no delivery.
I contacted UPS and was told to wait as there was problems at their depot and could not give a delivery date. There wasn’t even an option for me to pick up the parcels.
I contacted CPC (as advised by UPS) and basically requested to cancel the order. - Looking on the UPS app I could see the instruction to deliver back to sender.
1 hour later UPS turn up with the parcels. Which I obviously refused.
The parcels were successfully delivered back to CPC (as per the UPS app) and a week later I’m I’m still waiting for the return of my money. Not only this but the credit note is short by approx £40 as CPC missed the credit note for the second consignment.
Whilst the prices and stock at CPC are good it’s not all about that. Unfortunately, that why Amazon have sealed up most of the sales nowadays - they realised that the customer service is the most important thing - keep your customers happy by providing a good service and they will keep coming back.
Whilst I realise UPS delivery is outside the control of CPC the whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth and this will be my first and last order.
Still, I await the refund of my credit note to actually hit my account and the expedited return of funds for the other consignment. Keeping money on your books to keep the interest is bad business!
I’ve contacted customer support (ref 00321019) and provided account numbers, consignment numbers, invoice numbers, and provided breakdowns but still no reply after a few days!

Unfortunately, the CPC system doesn’t allow replies to queries (‘no-reply’ email address for any correspondence raised). Therefore, any new correspondence to customer services creates a new case! I don’t have any time during the working week to make phone calls whilst I’m working. Therefore, @CPC I am forced use a public system to reply to your automated reply…

Dear CPC Team,
I am struggling to understand what is happening here for such a simple query.
To date, the only reply I have received to my query is an automated one. Coincidentally, I finally received the missing credit note (# omitted) which was raised on Friday 16 January and was paid and cleared into my original payment account on Saturday 17 January.
However, I am still waiting for the payment from the initial credit note (# omitted) which was raised earlier on Friday 09 January.
Based on the time taken to process and clear one credit note, I expect the outstanding money owed to me to be paid into my account by close of business on Tuesday 20 January.
To date the customer experience I’ve received is very poor and would request that you please rectify this by finally refunding me my money. Is that too much to ask?

UPDATE 2026-01-20
I was since contacted by a lovely and understanding lady from CPC, who apologised for the issues and advised that the money was not returned as CPC didn’t hold details of the original payment card on their system.
As promised I received the owed money within 24 hours of the call.
I was also advised that there will be a new system within the near future that should hopefully allow customers to reply to queries raised online.
Thank you for your help in closing this matter.

The Login system on the WEB site is…
The Login system on the WEB site is dreadful. If you dont use it for a while it asks you to reset you password. This does not work and trying to do this puts you in a loop and it is NEVER possible to Login from there on in!!
