Since establishing in 2021, Counsellors all over Australia have worked with CPCA as a professional organisation dedicated to advocating for and on behalf of counsellors and their clients nationwide. We represent the interests of both the public and our members, acting as an intermediary body for both parties. Our organisation believes in maintaining strong relationships and advocating for fair outcomes for all. We’re committed to creating a unified voice for the counselling profession and aide those practicing to reach their full potential, and ultimately achieve better client outcomes.

An organisation that genuinely stands behind its members

My experience with Certified Practising Counsellors Australia has been incredibly positive. The team has consistently been helpful, supportive and generous with their time, providing clear information and guidance whenever I have needed it.

What has stood out most is their genuine commitment to their members. Their support extends well beyond simply processing membership—they provide valuable professional development opportunities, foster a strong professional community and actively advocate for greater recognition of their members, including with the NDIA.

I have felt genuinely supported and valued as a member, and it is clear that the team is passionate about both the counselling profession and the people working within it. They regularly go above and beyond, and I am very grateful to be part of the CPCA community.
