BUYER BEWARE!!!
Not worth the one star but I feel I have to warn others by reviewing. Do not order anything for them as they charge your card on a quarterly basis. I signed up for a special 3 month order that was a trial and now billing me every month. Impossible to get anyone on text, phone or email!!! BUYER BEWARE.

Cratejoy a rip off
One star because 0 or negative numbers wasn’t an option. Mediocre value for the money. They auto renewed and charged me even though they were advised not to and given 3 months warning. Customer service to get the issue resolved was non existent. Hours of my time wasted. Stay away from cratejoy. I know I won’t ever use them again.

I’ve tried to cancel my subscription for a week and can get no response from anyone. The chatbot on their website description of how to cancel doesn’t work.
This may be a fraud.
Amended comment after initial review: After about bunch of back and forth emails and many interactions with chat bots, I was able to get the refund I expected. Still, like the commenter below, a 3 month subscription w/o an auto-renew is what was advertised and was not what was delivered. But to be absolutely fair, I received my refund after extensive effort.

Stay Away
I can honestly say that I’ll never order from this company again. I purchased a three month subscription in November of 2024 for The Barbell Box via this company. We have only received 2/3 boxes and they charged me for a renewed subscription that I did not order which was completely different than what I ordered originally (the renewal was for a monthly subscription for $151). When I dug through the layers to contact them, they didn’t even reply so I dug further and was able to request a refund. Then an email came through that my subscription had been canceled; thank goodness. I’m sure we won’t receive the third box from the original order. Stay away!

Literally the worst customer service of…
Literally the worst customer service of any company I've ever ordered from. Duplicate order created and charged for the same product twice in the same credit card transaction and they and the seller bounce me back and forth for months saying I ordered the exact same subscription twice. Such a scam and takes weeks to get an answer with no help.

mystery box exchange successful
Two of my children gave me the mystery box for a Christmas gift. I received two identical boxes so I asked to exchange one for a different one. It took a lot of emails & follow up to finally get a different mystery. Leo definitely helped to move this situation among to a successful conclusion. Thank you!

I contacted customer service to see if I could get a replacement box sent since my original was damaged in shipment so badly it couldn’t be delivered. They reached out to the seller on my behalf and made sure my son got a new book & activity box to replace the damaged one. Cannot thank them enough!

The refund on my undelivered purchase…
The refund on my undelivered purchase hit my credit card two days after I opened a ticket. Leo gave the seller 48 hours to respond to my concerns and then immediately processed the return after two days with no response.
I am thankful for his very responsive follow up to my customer service complaint. I am disappointed with the seller, Free Your Tea, but am quite happy with the way the Cratejoy team stands behind their customers to create a positive shopping experience.

No products delivered, blamed their sellers, refused to take accountability for their business. I had to file chargebacks to get my refund as they refused to provide a refund. Avoid at all costs.

The worst experience I have ever had with a subscription company. I was continuously charged after unsubscribing. I was then locked out of my account that hindered any sort of communication with the brand. I was able to get in contact with Customer Support TWO WEEKS after my "open ticket" with the support team. DO NOT USE CRATEJOY!

This company is a scam. Do not, under any circumstances, start a subscription through them or any company they are associated with.
I have been trying for months to cancel my subscription. Emails, logging into my account to officially cancel my subscription, removing my payment info from my account. They continued to charge me. Cratejoy cust svc is non existent. I've had to send emails, fill out tickets, fill out google forms. There is no actual people you can speak with--everything is form responses with no way to follow up.
Avoid the hassle and never give them your payment info in the first place.

Never received the box
I ordered in Nov for a Christmas present. Christmas came and went without the box. When I checked the status in January is said pending/ not sent. I requested a refund and it took a month to hear back and get a refund. I don't recommend this box.

Cratejoy corrected a poor seller experience
I purchased a subscription a few months back that was never fulfilled by the seller. When the seller was unresponsive, the Cratejoy team stepped in and quickly issued a refund. I appreciate that they support the customers as I am sure it is very hard to vet every seller on the site.

Easy to manage
Was easy to order a subscription box. Had trouble immediately because I used my old address but the merchant responded quickly and fixed the issues. Easy to cancel since all subscriptions are in my account page

Updated review after resolution
Originally I posted a 1 star review due to 1 company. I couldn't come to a resolution with that company but have not had any issues with any other companies through cratejoy. When cratejoy responded to me it was resolved immediately. All other companies I ordered subscriptions through have been professional and delivered in a timely manor.
