In a world of scams…

In a world of scams & disappointing fine print, I appreciate that CCG offers clear straightforward bonuses...& the money actually shows up in my bank account.

A bit of a slow process...

Signing up through the website wasn't registered. I had to go back and forth with support for a long time. I did get my money but you have to work for it. Its not as simple as they make it seem. It took about 10 weeks to get paid out and multiple emails. I also had to reach out to the credit card company directly to get them to verify details.

Sometimes we don't receive this confirmation from the bank automatically, and manual investigation is required. We send the customer's information directly to the bank for a manual approval. There are various things that the bank and/or the affiliate network needs to validate such as approval status, that you're a first time cardholder for that card, that the application was started from our site, etc. Unfortunately, the manual investigation time does depend on the bank and it is outside of our control.

We've just checked on our end, were able to confirm that GeniusCash for this offer was sent on 2025-06-17 via Interac. If you have auto-deposit enabled, please check your transactions for a deposit on or after this date.

The payout takes an extremely long time to receive. I had my credit card for a few months before I was paid the bonus money.

worst customer service, no accountability

I applied for a credit card through CCG and for months my cashback status sat in “pending” with zero communication. I followed up twice, and both times got the same canned response — “we’re waiting to hear back from the bank.”, and of course, they never followed up. I had to chase them again months later, only to be told I was ineligible because my application was supposedly tied to another affiliate, which is complete bull because I only applied once, through CCG, entered all my personal information on their site, and didn’t touch any other platform.

Instead of actually investigating or owning the issue, they basically told me to screw off. It’s clear they don’t care at all once they’ve harvested your data and likely pocketed their referral payout. No transparency, no accountability.

It’s shady, careless, and disrespectful. At the very least, they could have kept me updated or given a straight answer from the start, as well as at least tried to investigate the issue. I’m not going to bother pushing further because it’s not worth my time, but I will never use CCG again and will be making sure everyone I know stays away from this joke of a company.

edit: the point is if I'm telling you I went through and applied directly through the CCG portal and never had anything to do with ANY other affiliate program, good customer service would be at least communicating this to the bank to see identify more details or to determine if there was some kind of discrepancy, THAT would be investigation. But ofc unless you get blasted by a popular thread or influencer, you won't care to put in the bit of additional effort to even perform some due diligence to make things right.

Hello,

As per our Terms and Conditions, we need to receive confirmation directly from the bank that the application for the credit card has been approved and that it meets all the eligibility criteria for GeniusCash. For most of our customers, we receive this confirmation from the bank automatically. When we don't, manual investigation is required, and we send the customer's information directly to the bank for a manual approval.

There are various things that the bank needs to validate such as approval status, that you're a first time cardholder for that card, that the application was started from our site, the correct information was provided, that the application isn't linked to another affiliate partner, among other eligibility criteria. So aside from being approved for the card, there are other application eligibility requirements that the bank considers, and there’s a variety of reasons why an application may not be eligible for GeniusCash.

The decision for eligibility and approval comes directly from the bank and in this case we had received confirmation from the bank that the application was linked to another affiliate partner, so it does not qualify for GeniusCash. This confirmation is required in order to pay out the marketing incentive, as per our Terms and Conditions.

Waited 5 months for cash back and gave up

They put the onus on the customer to regularly follow up for cash back. Attributed delays to the external partner while they also had access to the pending requests. Never received my sign up bonus and ended up canceling my card. Would never do Business with them again.

It was nice to recieve the genius cash

It was nice to recieve the genius cash, but the process took a very long time and was confusing as I was approved, yet the system on genius cashes end didnt know somehow. Would be nice if the process was more accurate and timely. Still appreciative of the option to even receive anything for being approved for a credit card!

My previous review was deleted. Amazing.

I have been promosed a promo. Applied and received the credit card. 4 months later they denied hundreds of people the promo and failed to properly address is.

They have our names. The bak gave us credit cards. But apparently there was fraud. You cannot make this up.

Ans trustpilot is not trustworth either. Deleting reviews!?
