It’s really way too early to give an honest review, which is why I only have it three stars - asking for a review this early makes a statement also, no?

High Risk/High Reward 😁💰

It's got a high apr and a pretty hefty annual fee, but it's helping me rebuild my credit. That alone is priceless. I learned the hard way how difficult it is to climb out of debt once you're in it... What a vicious cycle that is! Thankfully I should only need to pay the annual fee twice, because within the next 12-16 months I won't be high-risk anymore. I've been pleasantly surprised to see how quickly that score rises when you pay off debt, close unnecessary accounts, and make responsible financial choices. Wish I'd adhered to those rules from the jump... Live and learn. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🙂

I have no relationship with this bank

I have no relationship with this bank; never done business with them. I never inquired about these services and yet they have been bombarding my phone numbers with at least six to ten calls every damn day. I have called over and over again to ask them to stop calling my numbers. They take the numbers associated with my small business, several numbers, and promise that they wouldn't be calling and yet the very next day, starting around 8:15 every damn morning, they start around that time and it's call after call after call. They are blowing up my phone. This is harassment. I don't know how else to get them to stop calling my number but these are not people you want to do business with.

I had a credit limit for $350

I had a credit limit for $350, and after receiving my credit card with Credit One Bank on 5/20/2026, issues on first time of using card. Declined purchases, and customer services unable to have a resolution. Horrible experience for sure. Whatever you do, don't use this bank. Therefore, I closed the account on the same day of receiving my card.

Scammers!

These people are thieves, easy to understand, because nobody likes them or use them, they found a different way to get their money, charging "LATE FEES" of $29 even when you make the payment on time on the due date. I made the payment on time, I expedited the payment to make it go through on the same day and of course, they charged me for that too $4.95, not being happy with the fact that they still charged me $29 as a late fee. When I called their rep, they said that I paid one hour late. What scammers!!!!.. don't use these people, totally dishonest!!! I am gonna get rid of them!

They pray on desperate people…

They have extremely high interest rates, they change the day that your bill is due, and they charge you over the phone to make a payment. I just paid off my credit card and yet somehow they have closed my account without even telling me. They said oh we’d be happy to show you other options, other options with more interest. I wanted to rebuild my credit and I made payments every single month. Yet, I they closed my account with no reason. I would definitely not suggest this bank or any of its affiliates if you’re actually trying to rebuild your credit. The customer service will try and take you around in circles too if you let them. They are still sending me offers in the mail (for worse credit cards, aka higher fee’s and hidden fee’s, but at the same time close an account I’ve had for years due to ONE payment being returned because they took over a week to take it out of my account. I then remade the payment and thought all was well. It wasn’t. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. They will play you and they seem love a person desperate for any money and who doesn’t care of consequences. Don’t waste your time!!!

You will never get the card paid down. Additional charges added monthly.

Trying to pay down my balance and there is a $40 interest charge applied monthly that is not included in the monthly payment. How do they not include the interest and charge separately? Also, if you are two hours late (not paying before 5pm) a $39 late charge is added, so that's an additional $79 in charges. How can you pay the card down if they are tacking on additional charges every month. Do not use them to rebuild your credit.

Totally incompetent customer service

Totally incompetent customer service. I'm not a customer, have never opened an account and all of sudden I start receiving emails a credit card has been opened in my name.

Dealing with their customer service is like an obstacle course of barbed wire - they ask you repeat questions and nonsensical questions like "when did you open an account with us?" when the essence of the inquiry is about the fact I never opened an account.

Turns out customer service was useless, they suggested I just call the credit bureau. Their fraud department meanwhile never acknowledged my issue nor wrote back.

Under no circumstances should you trust this institution with your banking.

They make it harder on the families of…

They make it harder on the families of their credit card holder's to submit the fact that the credit card holder has passed away. I don't mind sending paperwork like the death certificate, but why only use the mail system? With the mail system there are reports of lost documents all the time. There was an email that the family could send the documents to, but it took going to the third manager to get it. Why did the first representative tell me to upload the documents using my poor husband's online account, when I told him I didn't know it & I felt like I was invading his privacy trying to find it (but I did) yet they still can't tell me IF they received the upload? What kind of inefficiency is that? It's already an emotionally charged situation, there are easier ways to handle it than this.

I contacted creditors Bank to request a onetime payment extension due to a surgery I am having and a large co-pay i must pay. Not only was Jeffery rude on the phone and difficult to understand he refused to help this customer and kept insisting I would pay a late fee which I was not trying to avoid. I was very distressed to find out this Bank was so heartless it could not offer a 15 day extension on my due date never had a Bank treat me like this before. Stay away from this heartless Bank if at all possible
