I was recommended to Credo by a friend who had used them previously.
I decided to buy a new car but had never done so with finance previously. Claire was incredibly helpful guiding me through the application and explaining things I was unsure of. My application was accepted within the hour and awaiting transfer to the car dealer. Claire’s professionalism was evident together with a caring attitude as she gave me her personal mobile number to ensure she was abreast of things as she was taking annual leave the day of my application. The following day, I had a couple of final questions about the loan and true to her word, Claire responded immediately even though she wasn’t officially working.

I bought my trailer from Equitrek Suffolk and this was the company they offered to use for finance. Before agreeing to the finance, I sent two emails to one of their advisors, Michael I think his name was asking him to confirm that if I paid off my balance early, I wouldn’t receive any additional fees or interest. He confirmed twice that this wouldn’t be the case.

I asked him to confirm this twice, and it was pretty obvious by the way I worded it I was checking if they worked like a normal loan, where if you pay the balance off early you don’t have to pay as much interest. This isn’t the case at all. I paid off 5.5K of my 6K loan but still left with a remaining balance of around 1700… I questioned this with the advisor at the time and she said it doesn’t matter when you over pay, you still have to pay the whole agreed interest amount. I felt this was quite misleading as any other loans I’ve ever had before you can pay off earlier and obviously not pay the interest.

I wish I hadn’t bothered paying it off earlier!

Dont make the same mistake I did - if you are buying something and considering this company as a finance option just do what I wish I had done at the start and get a bank loan from from Tesco with a 6.1% apr and where you don’t get penalised for paying a loan back early!!

I’ve used Credo for a number of years now and I really can not fault them. My latest purchase was done so quickly with no fuss.
I took on a new member of staff and really needed to purchase a new van but wanted to do it 3 days before the end of the VAT quarter. This didn’t stress Lewis or Richard and the deal was done in plenty of time.

Quick, friendly and efficient

I was looked after by Oliver Whipp, he explained everything very carefully and clearly to me. As a complete novice when it comes to financing a car, this was really refreshing, I felt like I could ask questions and not be treated like an idiot.
I then had a problem with the initial car dealer I was attempting to purchase from, and Oliver really went above and beyond to help me out and referred my problem to the compliance team who guided me through who to contact about making a complaint about the dealer and getting my deposit back.
Then when it came to getting a car from a trustworthy dealer Oliver and the team really came through in very timely manner and were able to get everything finalised and the money transferred to the correct places very quickly, meaning I was able to get on the road exactly when I needed to.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use Credo again for future finance needs.
