I first came across Crimson way before the application season started. (In sophomore year) I was mostly stressed by the amount of time management involved in this process. Not only that, I am super aware of the importance of forming an application that tells a story to the AO through my activities, writups, and letters of recommendation.

With Crimson, I was able to do extensive research on universities and find the best topic of essays for those universities and discuss them with my strategist. I was fortunate to have a very supportive Crimson Team of my strategist, essay mentor, and personal project mentor, who understands my personality and what I want my application to look like.

One thing I really liked is how Crimson provides a former admission's officer's review of your entire profile, including essays and common app activities. I had a meeting with my dream school's FAO, and she gave me some of the best advice about what kind of people the school is looking for. This advice actually got me into my ED school. Overall, I would definitely recommend Crimson, but make sure to talk a lot with your essay mentor so they would understand you.

Great mentors, strategist helped a lot and app mentor was incredibly helpful

We chose Crimson 3 years ago to help our eldest daughter with her UK university applications. They guided her in identifying her strengths and developing them. She has built a strong extracurricular profile through their help and has now been accepted at the university of her choice. Now, our son is enlisted with Crimson and hopefully, he will be in the same position as our eldest daughter!

I feel that choosing Crimson is the best gift that I gave to Jordan! We joined Crimson with doubts at first, but my son's step-by-step progress made me believe it! With so many choices out there when it comes to college counseling, it took a while to narrow down on Crimson. It was the conversation with the India head of Crimson that really made us pick Crimson over others. We have been in this program for around 4 months now. We still have a long way to go before the admissions but I thought I'd write in a review to say that whatever apprehensions I had initially, no longer exist. They have a great team supporting every student and whenever I have felt that something didn't feel right, I've have open communications with the success manager and we have changed gears. They are very open to communication and feedback which I think is a plus point. They are a big organization and there may be times when something is not going as expected and I believe they have the right mindset to be open minded about feedback received. With that I feel they are working towards making sure my child is equipped with the best possible support system. We have an amazing strategist who is very invested in my child finding his path and making changes accordingly. I would highly recommend Crimson.

The whole professional team has been really helpful throught the application season. The UK team supported my son to get an offer of University of Oxford which is his dream school. The US team helped him to get an offer of UCLA. The whole team is very organized in terms of strategist meetings, progress monitoring, Indigo research, essay/personal statement writing as well as interview preparations. Highly recommend!

Having a team of experts working together to aid me in the college searching, applying, and deciding processes was paramount to where I ended up. Everyone that I worked with was honest yet hopeful and constantly cheering me on.

There were moments I second-guessed my writing, when I felt like maybe my words weren’t “impressive” enough. But he reminded me that vulnerability is strength, and that sharing my truth — my father’s story, my passion for education equity, my leadership journey — was more powerful than any perfect-sounding sentence.

When I opened my UPenn acceptance letter, I couldn’t stop crying. Not just because I had gotten into my dream school, but because it felt like every part of me had been validated. Crimson helped me tell my story with pride and honesty.
