We also make a full range of all the tools and accessories a budding luthier could want in their journey of sawdust and music and are continuously improving on and adding to our custom designs. We ship worldwide and are back at full capacity after the Covid-19 shutdowns in the UK. In our hunt for perfection, we have grown into the largest guitar building school in the world, hosting up to 500 local and international students each year in purpose designed in house guitar making courses from 2 days long to 3 whole months. While the luthiery school is still closed we expect to be open as usual in a few short weeks, we are still taking orders for and booking course dates though so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Brilliant staff who clearly are so…
Brilliant staff who clearly are so passionate about what they do. I was lucky to be in a great group of people as well. 5 days to build a guitar from scratch for an absolute beginner is tough! But it was so much fun in the process and you learn a lot along the way.

Class act
The products are of high quality and very well made. The website is very easy to use, and there are usually loads of deals on.
I did have to wait a few extra days/ a week for my order (due to an admin error) but once I contacted them about the delay, Crimson made sure that it was dispatched the next day. 👍

Clear finish was poor ..
The wood stain was excellent but the clear finish didn’t cure properly, which was a pain . Only 3 stars because of that

Great product, great service.
Bought a bottle of penetrating oil as I was looking to give my guitar a natural Matt finish. After four coats the finish was exactly what I was looking for. Price and deliver was spot on too.

Purchased guitar finishing…
Purchased guitar finishing stains...even with shipment costs across the pond to the colonies, the cost was acceptable...the stains work exceptionally well.
Different issue: the lack of guitar-building videos the last year is apparent, notably the near-complete absence from Ben Crowe, either from his home studio, or (preferably), his older and much better equipped studio at headquarters.
Final note...I'm the fella who won the '59 VOS Les Paul in 2023...all the flack about Gibson aside, this one's a keeper...and we thank you.
