Nightmare Return Policy at the Consumer's Cost

The return policy is horrific. You have to pay return shipping to a random warehouse in Finland. We looked at how much the price would be and it was €60! That was the same price as the shoes. We ended up gifting both pairs to people we knew who could thankfully wear the sizes. The wording in Finnish is also very incorrect and seems like it was done with either AI or a terrible translator.

Impossible to return, terrible customer support experience.

Ordering went OK, but delivery took a very long time.

But the worst happened when I had to return my product: shipping is only partially paid, and I have to paid for the return to a Finnish address. The catch? Crocs has been unable to provide me with all the necessary information to do so. They don't have a Finnish phone number for shipping carriers to notify of the upcoming delivery. Most Finnish carriers (Posti, Matkahuolto, GLS, ...) require a Finnish phone number for the recipient.

I've had impossible conversations with the Crocs support team, who basically was acting like a robot and kept repeating that they could also share their Dutch support phone number which "is the default phone number for all EU region, and we are unable to provide another one.". They've never showed signs that they wanted to actually resolve the issue.

The Finnish Competition and consumer authority advised to file an official report and complaint. In addition, my card provider (Visa) used for this transaction advised to dispute the transaction and that it will be resolved in my favor as Crocs could not fulfil its promise for a product return.

This is not a judgment on their products. However, my personal advice is to avoid buying from their website as you're likely to get stuck and feel lots of pain through the process.
