Helped us compete for new business

For a labour resourcing company, sourcing the right candidates from across the UK is essential. Cross Digital have allowed us to do this by designing, developing and continually improving a bespoke website that is functional and user-friendly as well as creating a fully integrated service workflow for our team. Having a mobile-enabled site with a fully integrated content management system and CRM proved to be very useful in getting us from £0 to just under £1m revenue in 2 years and also proved to be a key marketing tool to help us compete for new business.

The results have been fantastic—sales have increased

Warning

Warning. Cross Digital (formally IDDE ) took control and ownership of our domain name without our permission. Cross Digital refused to give ownership and control back until we paid a disputed, inaccurate invoice (We had been charged VAT twice!) which in the end we were forced to do unwillingly . I was not informed about the Domain payment and NOT asked permission to either pay or move complete control to Cross Digital - if you are considering this company for your website services - beware of sharp practices - I can provide email proof.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re genuinely sorry that you feel this way, but we’d like to respectfully clarify the facts.

Your domain was indeed originally registered in your name. However, in early 2023, your renewal payment lapsed, putting the domain at risk of expiring and becoming available to the public. To protect your organisation from losing its domain (and email access), Cross Digital covered the renewal fee as a gesture of goodwill, not as an attempt to take ownership.

You were invoiced solely for direct costs incurred (domain and hosting), with no markup or service fee, and informed that full domain control would be transferred once the invoice was settled. This was communicated clearly, and full admin access was transferred within 24 hours of payment, along with detailed steps for you to remove our access.

We regret that the situation led to frustration, but we feel it was important to act responsibly to protect your online presence when services were left unpaid for over a year.
Cross Digital remains committed to integrity, clarity, and going the extra mile for clients, even when things are difficult.
