A relative of mine was cared for by this company and the service was great until there was a change in management which I have only recently found out about, she no longer receives care by them as my mum quickly noticed how downhill the company went late last year.
Awful management from Ruth herself. Withholding staffs wages due to them leaving from such a poor established business. Having to chase for our money right before Christmas with no hope of getting it! Very unprofessional behaviour from majority of her staff. Would not recommend!

The management staff are fantastic! They are really approachable and supportive.
The care and support staff go out of their way to make you feel part of the team and they help and encourage you in any way they can.
And the people that they look after genuinely receive the very best standard of care.

Cross care have been providing care to our mother for 2+ years and we have been thoroughly impressed with the overall care and service provided. From the moment we contacted the agency, their friendly and helpful staff took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns, ensuring that I felt comfortable and at ease with the process.
Once the care plan was in place, the carers attending were not only professional and experienced, but also gentle, patient and friendly.
They take the time to get to know mum's needs, and go above and beyond to ensure that she receives the best possible care. Whether it is helping her with daily tasks around the house, running errands or simply providing companionship, the carers are always there for her with a smile on their face and a kind word to say.
Overall, I cannot recommend this homecare agency highly enough. Their commitment to providing excellent care and support is second to none, and I feel truly blessed with the wonderful experience. If you or a loved one are in need of top quality homecare services, I would absolutely recommend giving this Cross Care a call - you won't be disappointed!
Carers were good, management and communication was rubbish! Some absolutely lovely carers came to help my frail father, but the weekly schedule we were given did not match the one they gave the carers, and so the carers were mostly arriving at odd times, and outside of what was agreed and expected, so it was all very stressful! Requests to update us of changes to the times were completely ignored, and then only four days notice was given to terminate our service as they could no longer cover it, leaving us to make an emergency call to the social care team for help!
