Delivery was made on time. The meat was perfectly chilled. So far, we have had the sirloin, topside and silverside, all absolutely delicious. There's nothing you can get from a supermarket that is anyway near as good.

It’s a bit of a family event when Crosscliff Dexters email us to say there’s some boxes becoming available. It’s the best beef you’ll likely ever try. They’re also a genuinely lovely bunch of people who approach their farming from the very best place. Happy cows make for unbelievably good meat.

...and I'm one happy guinea pig, being experimented on by being delivered a load of excellent beef is pretty good as it happens.
The box contains a variety of braising and pricier cuts with some nice steak and roasting joints. The rib roasts are spectacular. The beef has a remarkably deep beef flavour and the fat is absolutely packed with it, and the various bits of beef are generously butchered. Even the mince made a surprisingly good cottage pie before performing admirably on burger and meatball duty. Some shin went into a Thai red curry and that blew me away alongside some pretty strong spicing. So the beef is good, which is the entire point of the enterprise, fill your boots. With beef.
