Crossover bank is affiliated with…

Crossover bank is affiliated with TurboTax.

My refund was said to be sent by check in 2/21, within days my check was canceled with no reason why.

Then they said via turbos tax tha lt my money was sent to IRS, which was a lie and money has yet to be returned.

I had been waiting over 45 days with no result. I have tried countless hours for days trying to get ahold of someone to answer the phone or cal back with no results.

This is not the way business should be run.

I expect this money to be sent to me asap before legal action will have to be taken.

Stealing federal funds/ misappropriation of funds/Falsifying documentation

I am following up on our conversation on March 22, 2026, regarding the status of my refund.

During that discussion, you stated that my bank rejected the attempted deposit from Cross River Bank and that, as a result, the funds are now subject to a 90-day hold period before being returned to the IRS for reissuance.

I am formally requesting documented proof of this claim, specifically:

· Confirmation that the funds were sent to my bank (Capital One), including the exact date and time of the attempted deposit

· Any transaction records supporting the alleged rejection

At this time, I have documentation and recorded communications that directly contradict this explanation. These records indicate that the funds were not received as described, (per your supervisor in the resolution desk) as well as the “Cross River bank supervisor”. Additionally, I have evidence that directly challenges the claim that an attempted deposit was made and rejected. Based on the information available to me, this narrative Turbo Tax Intuit Inc, is pushing is inaccurate and unsupported and its called " misappropriation of funds", raising serious legal concerns regarding the handling of my federal funds.
Please also address the following inconsistency:

If it has been stated that the funds were not received from the IRS, by a Cross river bank employee and as well as several turbo tax Intuit Inc., employees, how is it possible that an attempted deposit was made to my bank account?

For your reference, I have attached supporting materials, including:

· IRS confirmation showing release of funds to TurboTax / Intuit with a deposit date of March 18, 2026

· Recorded communications with representatives from TurboTax and Cross Riverbank between March 16 and March 20, 2026. I have many more recordings to support my claim and dismantle your narrative.

These materials highlight discrepancies that require immediate clarification.

I expect my funds to be released into my account within three (3) business days of receipt of this email. If this matter is not resolved within that timeframe, I will proceed with legal action.

I expect a prompt and accurate response.
Everyone please get you an attorney, record all calls.

Best,

We had a breach from a hacker

We had a breach from a hacker who trasnferred money to a Cross River bank account. I submitted a fraud alert to them a month ago. Literally no response from them after a month! This bank clearly has no interest in running a clean shop.

Partner in crime with Coinbase

this bank has been chosen by Coinbase to transfer my funds in order to complete the transaction.

Unfortunately, it seems that my money got buried in this bank, and bank has no intention to launch the wire. For few weeks now Bank ignores my emails, doesn’t give any information or explanation and doesn’t transfer money to my bank account.

This Bank is a scammer and thief. Stay away from Cross River Bank and Coinbase as they cooperate and support each other.

Cross River Bank is the lender enabling…

Cross River Bank is the lender enabling Affirm to destroy consumers' finances while hiding behind fake support and shutdown email channels. I’ve reached out to Affirm for months, including hardship requests and formal complaints, and got ignored. A rep finally responded just once with “your case is under review” — but then nothing.

Now I’m 35+ days late on multiple loans because NO ONE will help in writing. Affirm shuts down their support, sends credit threats, and Cross River Bank — the actual lender — does absolutely nothing.

I emailed Cross River directly and got no response. How can they let their partner lend to consumers with no checks, no resolution process, and no legal compliance?

If you're wondering who's behind Affirm's negligence, it’s Cross River Bank. They underwrite the loans but vanish when you need them. This is exactly how consumers get buried in default while doing everything right.

Cross River facilitated fraud

Cross River facilitated a fraudulent chargeback scam by a customer of my online business by the name of Shannon Corman. I provided evidence of the fraudulent claim, however, without any specified reason, Cross River Bank accepted the claim and took the money.

Financial Fraud

This bank facilitates fraud. An online gaming company, Living Pixels Studio, created a Ponzi scheme and stole millions of dollars. Many tried to use their credit card purchase protection to chargeback the unfulfilled purchases. Cross River Bank worked with Living Pixels Studio to lie and cheat in their evidence to avoid financial consequences for the fraud. Do not do business with this bank.

Terrible

Terrible. I payed off a personal loan with a balance transfer credit card from Citi and they’re saying the funds went to a different bank. Citi has provided proof funds went to Cross River and they’re still saying it didn’t happen, even though they cashed the check.

My account was flagged and suspended without explanation

My account was flagged and suspended. I called various times and requested to know why. I used my card for two small transactions totaling under $13 from a small convenience store and Taco Bell. It was suspended due to fraudulent activity I was told. How I do not know. I called at least 5 times and it's been nearly two weeks with no resolution. I stopped my small direct deposit into this account. I have a loan from them (Ugrade) which did not allow the payment to go through and now it is delinquent. I am filing a consumer complaint through the Federal Reserve. Avoid this bank!

They restricted my account, it has been over a month without any communication. I do not have access to my funds. Front representatives cannot provide any updates nor I can speak to someone who can.

Not a very good experience

I have had a credit line with Cross River Bank for over two years through Upgrade. I have to say this is the worst lender that I have ever dealt with. I have not been late on any of my payments with them or any creditor, ever.

I have good credit and my credit utilization rate is below 30%. While other creditor cards and credit lines have increased my credit during that time, Cross River keeps reducing my credit. This year so far, they have reduced my credit line three times. Sometimes, they give very odd reasons. One of the reasons they gave the last time is "Inconsistent trend in payment amounts of bank-issued credit cards". The fact is I pay much more than the minimum balance on all my credit cards. Sometimes I pay double, sometimes I pay triple, sometimes I pay a card off. Cross river seems to think this is bad.
