Poor watch repair

At the end of last year I paid £125 for a watch repair. When the watch was returned, after several weeks. I was given a 12 month guarantee. A short time later the watch gained exactly 3 hours and I re-set the time, When it happened on two further occasions I returned to the shop and the watch was sent off and "repaired". The watch has now gained 2 or 3 hours on a further two occasions, the latest being today. Because the shop recently held on to my watch for 1 week during which it kept perfect time [I had explained that it sometimes did this] they have refused to reimburse the cost of the initial repair or pay for me to have the watch mended elsewhere as required by Consumer Law.
