C60 — Carbon 60, or Buckminsterfullerene — is a spherical carbon molecule discovered in 1985 and awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1996. It has been a subject of scientific research ever since, most notably the widely cited Baati et al. (2012) study, which used olive oil as the carrier. That research choice is exactly why we use olive oil too. We treat the carrier with the same seriousness as the molecule. Our C60 is produced solvent-free, under an inert argon atmosphere, at 99.9% purity, and dissolved in single-origin, certified organic extra-virgin olive oil. Both the molecule and the oil define the quality of the finished product. Transparency is our standard: our batch lab report is publicly available on our website — no email required — so you can verify purity and the absence of solvent residues yourself.
