Company went massively down hill | DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

Was initially amazing, incredibly cheap and super fast. (Lived up to the specs that it promised.)

Then it all went downhill, for some reason all the nodes started to go down. Especially mine, which was down for over two weeks. I was getting frustrated, so tried to create a ticket. This ticket (support) was ignored and then deleted.

The CEO then said that it had never happened before, so I created a new ticket and that again was deleted.

Eventually all public speaking channels in the discord server were removed and we couldn't contact the company.

I lost money, time and most importantly all of my worlds, files and data.

This is terrible business practice, and ultimately morally wrong.

Definition of a Scam

Attempted to purchase a hosting plan for an MC server. I never got it and was still charged $7 twice. Opened all the tickets I could only to be met with radio silence. I opened a case with PayPal and won because Veritor never responded to PayPal. If you used PayPal as a payment option you're at least covered by buyer protection...

This company has completely ghosted

This company has completely ghosted. Bought from them last year, pure quality, now there is no service, no invoice for payments, let alone a refund button, + they will never give what you paid for, discord server link is invalid, locked down, luckily I only paid very little, but I had to get a new debit card to stop them from charging me. You can't close down your account. They are not even a service anymore, just a website to take your money and ignore you. Might as well be a donation site. Do not buy, because you would be giving them free money

CubikNode is a very untrustworthy…

CubikNode/veritor is a very untrustworthy company. CubikNode is know for scam experiences as it is one of the top results when you google them. I myself have also been scammed and mistreated by this company. Cubik aka Stephen, tends to behave in a bully-like style. He scams people off their money and exposes their personal information as well. DO NOT BUY OR TRUST!

I used to be a staff member.

I used to be a staff member.

I use to be a staff member for CubikNode, and one day, the CEO, Stephen just locked all the channels in the discord, completely ignored me in DMs and Staff Chat so I just quit without any notice.

I dont have image proof of the Staff chat, but I do for DMs.

I won't recommend using them.

Now sadly a scam.

Used their service in the past. They offered cheap MC hosting, but without telling customers they shut down their servers & locked their discord and are offering 0 reprive. I lost my world & can't get a refund.

It's a Scam at this point..

I'm honestly disgusted, I'm not sure what type of company this is at this point I have been with them for a year and until now it's been unbelievable how this has turned out to be a compleat scam. I had an overdue payment and understandably they removed the service from my account and I paid off the £50. and been waiting a month for my service to be added to my account again the owner of the business Stephen/iCubik has been ignoring me not responding to my messages and he has locked his general chat's in the main discord. not allowing any of us to complain, submit support tickets and the staff have not been responding. and the support has been inactive so this shows their '24/7/360' support is complete lies. I want a full refund of the £50 and access to my cpanel support to take my files. I'm disgusted with this what type of business is this you are running? I'm deffo going back with Pebblehost now..

Bad Business Practices

No transparency when anything isn't working properly. No time estimates or any response on their discord. I complained about this on their discord and my account was banned. These people clearly do not care about their customers and it's extremely annoying. The reason their service is so cheap is that it isn't even working half the time. Spend your money elsewhere, this company is horrid.

Save yourself the bother

Save yourself the bother and go elsewhere.

They do NOT follow their own policy which says they will refund if cancelled within 24 hours - THEY DONT and I cancelled within 3 hours!

Told me they had servers in the UK, but it was setup in Canada. Cancelled straight away, didn't get a reply on the LIVE chat, Ticketing System or Discord.

Raised a dispute with PayPal, PayPal sided with them because they provided FALSE evidence. Saying I logged into the service provided. The only thing I logged into was the Website/Client area, this is where i seen it was hosted in Canada. Not once did i login to a control panel for the server. LIARS!

Anyway, I had to ring PayPal to appeal and get a refund, so save yourself the hassle.

Would not recommend...

After a week of service, Node that my minecraft server was being hosted on went offline.
Once this happened I joined their Discord server, Once joined I had asked just for a possible time that the node would be back online.
They deleted my comment, So I made a ticket asking the same question, "is there an ETA for the node to come back online as it has been offline for 1 day", After 2 more days of the ticket not being answered, They decided to just delete my ticket.

As of right now, The service has been offline for 3 days with 0 communication as to the possible reason, Or a possible time for the service put back online.
No email, Ignored request for information.

Cancelled service, Doubt at this rate I will get my data back.

Frequent downtime, data loss, lies, employees not paid.

Greetings, this is my experience with Cubiknode. This comes from my perspective as a client, partner and employee of Cubiknode.

I'll try to keep everything short and to the point:

Servers:
Within a week of receiving my first Cubiknode server, and moving my files across to them- they lost all of my data. They apologized profusely and told me it wouldn't happen again. Luckily, data loss never did occur again.

The up-time isn't the best, server nodes constantly go offline- leaving you a "daemon offline" error on your console. This has happened more times than I can count- again, I was assured this wouldn't happen in the future. At the time I am writing this review, my server is once again offline. There was a large period of time where my server remained offline for over 35 hours with no word from support, which was a deciding factor in me moving to a different host.

The server performance seemed fine for the price, I didn't bump into any performance issues that were related to false specifications or anything like that. Basically, it was good value when actually online.

The last time there was an issue, I was told it was due to them switching provider- whilst a high level employee over at Cubiknode told me this was actually due to the bills not being paid.

Partnership & affiliate:
As a partner, I was a recipient of a 50% discount for myself and 15% discount for my userbase. This was an alright deal when I started up, as I needed a cheap host to hit the ground running after an internal management change on my side. However, I was essentially paying to provide advertisement for them to my community- which I later felt conflicted about.

I also used their affiliate system, which essentially gave you a cut of a users monthly billing if they made a purchase after using your affiliate link. This seemed good in practice- but you couldn't actually withdraw the balance, and it remained on your account as invisible store credit. It would be good if this data was available for view somewhere.

Support:
I've had a few issues with their support in the past. They had a pretty good Discord based ticket system, but they later changed this in favor of website based tickets and live chat. I actually quite enjoyed using the live chat feature (besides the fact I was receiving employee conversations via email transcripts).
I usually received a quick response with their live chat- minus the aforementioned period in which 35 hours passed with no response.

Most of their support team did a good job- with the exception of a few who you could tell lacked experience or maturity, which highlighted their actual age. This was the case for one particular member of support who actually sent me a threat via PM, which almost ended my Partnership.

They have a bot on their server which allows you to see their up time, I use this quite a lot to make sure that their nodes are actually offline. The most recent time I used this command, to see if my node was offline again, I was banned from their Discord server. I won't dwell too much on this, as I was still able to reach support via their Website.

Working at Cubiknode:
It wasn't the most pleasant experience. I was assigned web based tickets, which for my role as "Modpack specialist", was to install modded servers for clients.
I felt as though it took too long in some cases for me to receive the login credentials of paying clients, but I ended up resolving all of my tickets none the less.
I was promised a payment of $3 per ticket, and was not paid for my work on multiple tickets- despite bringing it up quite often. On one occasion, I was told my payment was going to be delayed whilst a 'family' issue was dealt with. The owner of Cubiknode would then go on to post pictures of his new office space and iPhone, mere days after telling me that.

tl;dr, servers are reasonably priced, but go offline quite often.
The staff team provide lies quite often, and have a history of not paying partners or employees (you can see such instances with simple google searches)
'Maintenance' (even when claimed to have been scheduled) is never announced in advance, and feels more like an excuse for actual issues.
Myself and other employees have not been paid for past work.
I have not had access to my own data for at least two days now, and was immediately banned from their support Discord upon running a status command.

Edit: I have finally received access to my data (which according to support, had only been unavailable for six hours. This is a blatant lie, as I was checking all day and have a Discord bot tied to its uptime that says otherwise)

Further Edit (17/01/2018):
At 9AM this morning, UK time, both of my servers (one of which I cancelled the other day, and another which I still used due to not having enough time to download and move all my files from) had their data reset to the default configuration.
I have not received any word about this, but will be taking action in regards to it.

Trash

Trash. Support is extremely slow, client area is confusing and unorganized. Invoices are messy and billing issues are present. The servers, for the most part, work fine. Prices? Fine. What I don't like is spending the money and getting no service out of it. For a stint of time an invoice went unpaid despite being paid early and my server was down for several days before support figured it out. The online support chat is absolutely useless. The ticket system is easily the slowest support I've ever had to deal with. The servers are also unsecured. I could view other client's servers and port numbers just by navigating around on the server config page.

The last straw was when I realized I was being charged for a server that wasn't even up. I couldn't connect or see it in the configuration. When I logged into the configuration site, no servers were listed.
I finally had enough and cancelled (unfortunately after I was charged for the next month). I was told by the automated email that it should be cancelled within 24 hours. We're sitting four days short of a month deep and it hasn't been cancelled yet. I cancelled automatic payments so it's their loss at this point.

UNFORTUNATELY, you cannot remove or change your billing details. The account is stuck with what it was created with. I may look into ways of clearing this.

The service is great, only thing is that my Minecraft server was a little slow at first but after about a week it was running smooth, but nothing to complain about for the price. I also have a website that runs smooth other than when inputting sql but im pretty sure anywhere would have that issue.

I would defiantly recommend them for both Minecraft and Web services
