I kindly suggest, all Artists and Painters to be very carefull. First of all, saying they are "Money Grabbing Page" can be a bit cruel - but here are things you should consider:

1. Interestingly, when I applied - they are saying that they are answering each mail personaly and go threw every application individually. Interestingly, I appllied at 22PM and was recieveing mail of comfirmation around 2 AM and also another mail, asuumengly personaly around 4AM in the morning to describe my work. As I expected, today around 22PM I was excepted, what an honour LOL.
2. Secondly, they say, when you apply, if you are excepted you need to "assure your place in the book" and pay 190 eur within 48 hours. Like previous comment with one star wrote - if you dont pay, they keep sending you reminder emails on and off, you can not even unsubscribe. (Not ok, really)
3. You do the math. For 100 Artists, each gets 2 pages, they get 19.000eur - and if they print 500 books - the rest they can say that it goes for marketing, and distriubution over Italy and Bookshops. Why is it fishy? because tehy say, this is Fourthcoming Book - there is absolutely no evidence that there have been books like that by them Culture Lab (100 Artists of Europe), but they do have (again, interestingly) two pictures of Cover books of photography of Italia and something else.. Also, please consider, that there is no evidence of any books of them existing, and also no information where were they promoted, how many copies were made and also - its preety good business if they do print it, send you a copy - but they still can keep from 6.000 to 7.000 eur for themselves. And overall, you absolutely can not know what promotion, distribution, and where will they make. Because again - they probably even dont.

Please also Note, all the positive comments and five star raitings are from now October 2025, there is impossible to get any Info from Artists colaborating with them before. At least not in this "Book case."

Rather save this 190eur for yourselfs, for painting material or good Coffee :)

Wouldn’t say this is a scam but I believe it to be a very misleading money-grabbing business.
I sent a picture in after seeing it on social media (admittedly I didn’t do my research first, thinking it was some competition) and my picture was selected to be included suspiciously quick. Checked my emails after a few days and had already been spammed with 4-5 reminders to send money/pay within 48 hours or lose my spot and reminded that “many photographers” are requesting to join but only a select few are chosen, etc etc. I didn’t proceed further. The most frustrating part is I can’t see an unsubscribe option on their emails, which is unacceptable.

I have no doubt the book is probably genuine but in my opinion, it’s a business where you pay €190 to have yourself scrapbooked with another 99 people desperate to get their name in print.

I applied and was selected to be part of the “100 artists of Europe” book. The application process was simple and easy. Once selected I was helped by a very kind person named Roberto who guided me through one on one. He answered any questions I had swiftly and gave very clear instructions on the steps I should take as well as the overall next steps in the timeline.
