This card actually works

Everything is so professional this card has actually helped me raise my credit within the first few weeks of using it just a few points but it actually is working for me

Choosing A Card on Your Own Terms

I love the fact that the application was quick and easy and that they have a differentiation between the customer's actual balance account and a separate reserve account that holds the money (even though it's already been spent), until the payment due date that the customer gets credited towards their credit rebuilding. I am not happy about the fact that my account isn't showing where the card has been used to make purchases, but not traditionally swiped. I'm not sure if that's a glitch in the app, but the card has been working as normal overall, and it even allows you to purchase gas without the traditional authorization hold that's put in place; (if you have enough money on your card and purchase gas, it will show a zero balance, but as long as you don't spend up to your limit, you will still be able to make other purchases if needed with your card). I think the card is a wonderful card overall, just needs a few improvements towards credit reporting that maybe the main goal for customers in terms of choosing this card.

I didn’t realize Current had charges…

I didn’t realize Current had charges fees to get your money loaded to your card. And some other fees …That’s just greedy to me so I will not be using it too much more from here. I’m going to transfer my money to a different bank or card.

Current Fraud

Current was exhibiting themselves as a good bank in my eyes.. until recently. I had over 20+ rapid transactions deducted from my account that I disputed immediately upon noticing, which left me in the negative after just receiving my payroll check. I have a family and home I provide for with my checks and this was very disheartening. When I contacted them, they successfully disputed each transaction but when asked about a provisional credit, I kept getting multiple different answers. This created a financial hardship for me and I kept getting the run around. It still is not corrected an am at risk for utility shut off and losing my phone service. I have contacted the regulatory agencies because this is just wrong for someone to experience this. I switched to Current because of a friend who uses and spoke highly of and I am highly disappointed.
