I couldn't even get past the ordering…

I couldn't even get past the ordering step with this company. The chat guy "Jerick" was very helpful until I started asking specific (and realllly basic) questions, such as "where is the 'add to cart' button because I'm not seeing one" (only an "order now" button, which he could not explain) then quickly shifted to delayed responses, then directed me to call or email customer service. So I called. The number had no identifying message such as "Thank you for calling Custom Lanyards" - so needless to say, I didn't leave a message. When I hopped back on our chat, "Jerick" suggested I begin my order again if I was still having problems.

In the grand scheme, I'm glad I didn't get any further because after reading these comments, I have zero confidence I would have received my order if it ever was placed.

There are plenty of other options for promotional items like this - I'll pay a little extra for the peace of mind.

5 stars all the way, zero issues

I am flabbergasted by the reviews on this site. If I had seen these, i would definitely not ordered from them, but glad I didn't. I LOVE this company. ok, that is a little much, but honestly, I have not had a single issue, and i have been ordering from them for a couple of years. I started with a simple search, and they came up. Their site was easy to work within, the product came crazy fast, and exactly as ordered. The other teams liked them so much, we ordered more. We have ordered full print custom badges, lanyards, and key chains from them. I had one issue with their website, I was having trouble on a reorder. round and round, i was in some kind of tech loop on their site, it would redirect, dump the order, and redirect again. I finally gave up and called customer service, no problem. There was a hiccup of course, and it happens, the customer service agent, put everything in the system on their end, i logged back in, picked up where they left off, problem solved all is right with the world again. I have never had an order come in wrong, or late. Had not ordered with them for a while, and just ordered a couple months ago, smooth as silk. Sometimes, i think the only time people come to this particular site is when they are unhappy, and that is too bad. For those that had a bad experience, i'm sorry, because i have ordered from them over 20 times, with zero product issues.

Non-profits beware...

We ordered lanyards ahead of an event but received the wrong color and was given the runaround for days with the same response of "give me some time to figure it out". Finally got someone on the phone and they said we received the texture we ordered. I didn't order anything based on texture, I ordered it based on color. He told me to show him on the website where a specific color was noted for what I ordered, and it was literally the picture of the item. I ordered Texture 8 which clearly shows a mottled purple and instead we received bright pink lanyards - not even close to being purple. Clearly, no one would order that item if what they received was an arbitrary color and not what was shown in the actual item picture. This was just an attempt to weasel out of their mistake. He finally said he would send a return shipping label and would refund me upon receipt. I'm not holding my breath for the label or the refund. As a non-profit, this is shameful loss of funds.

DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS. I paid a $74 rush fee for my order to arrive on a certain date, and the order hadn’t even shipped the day before it was supposed to arrive. Customer service refuses to explain why this happened. I now am worried I will not have my order in time for the event I am planning and they refuse to help me.

Delivered when said would be delivered!

Custom lanyard.net......I ordered my wristbands August 11th. I was worried about it being a scam. Customer Service reassured me it wasn't a scam. I called and it was in production, and they would email when shipped! It took 5 days, i got a email saying shipped. And there was a flight delay, but I received them August 22nd, like it said they would be delivered... happy with my order. Thank you!

Order never arrived by date

Order never arrived by date. No one knows anything, someone is always getting back to me with an update. Needless to say, I have no promotional items for my event, and on top of that, no one reached out about the delay in production. And to top it off, they are checking to see if I can be refunded because they need to make sure the order wasn't shipped and the tracking just wasn't provided. I have no product.... hello.... if it shipped it didn't ship to me!

Very reliable and great quality

I read a bunch of reviews that made me doubt their reliability, but I took a bet and ordered a ton of important name badges and they looked great! They came on time and everything went smoothly. I would definitely order through them again.

SCAM ALERT do not order from this company!

This company is a total scam. They say they're located in Texas but your order will ship from China. By my estimated delivery date I hadn't heard a peep about shipping so I contacted them and they said to submit a complaint. Since submitting my complaint they've sent me two different tracking numbers and an official "your order has shipped" email but both tracking numbers were for someone else's order. They then responded to my complaint and said my order was lost and they can either refund me or remake it and have it delivered in 14 business days. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM their customer service is awful and they just lie and lie.

Bad Customer Service and Lack of Accountability

Product was not shipped on time and when I contacted customer service to get a tracking number, they said they were holding it because the product came out defective. I would not have known this had I not reached out and probably never would have received my item? I asked them to send me a photo of the defect and it wasn't so bad so I told them to please proceed with them shipping it. I had paid for a rush fee to receive it by a certain date, but they would not overnight ship it even though it was their mistake. I eventually received the item a week later and all they offered was to refund the rush fee ($41). I then had to incur extra personal expenses to ship out the items individually to those who I could have just given it to in person had the order arrived on time. I asked them to compensate me for my extra costs, in addition to refunding me the rush fee and they were not willing to budge on a fair deal. They eventually agreed to give me 30% off my order ($47), instead of refunding the rush fee. For an item that was late AND that I accepted defected, they should have come up with a fair compromise refunding me the rush fee and a percentage of the item cost. The whole thing was ridiculous and unacceptable and probably some of the worst customer service I've experienced from a company like this. I will never order from this website again.

CustomLanyard.net Fail & False Advertising

Do not recommend. Purchased wristbands. Manufacturered and shipped from overseas, so shipping took awhile. Print quality was poor. The parent company, Zaappaaz LLC, has been sued by the FTC for false advertising and the case is currently pending.

I am 110% satisfied with my experience…

I am 100% satisfied with my experience with them. I was tasked with finding lanyards for a work project. So many options, but most wanted crazy minimums. Since this wasn't for a large company or event, I needed smaller amounts. I came across their site. The layout is simple, you build your lanyard, so many options, and minimum order was reasonable, and so was the price. They came wicked fast and perfect. Another one of my stores decided to do the same thing. I noticed that they did the uv printed badges as well. So I ordered the lanyard and the badges from them. The time frame was out a bit, but that was fine, still reasonable, and I was all about saving the extra shipping. I just got the 2nd order of lanyards and badges, and I could gush for a minute here. They came in a week earlier than expected and they are exactly what we ordered, and the quality, everything is just perfection. My team thinks I am a hero, and that is just an extra bonus. I have seen a couple of other reviews, while finding this site, you will see most seem reasonable, i also think a few are paid for based on the verbage, but i can assure you, I am a real person, a real customer (twice) , and I am really happy. I suspect after the other teams see this latest store badge/lanyard, I will be placing another order soon. I will point out, and I don't know if they are all the same company, or what but this is specifically customlanyard.NET

Fake trust pilot badge on site - beware

The company has a Trust Pilot badge on its site, yet I am the first reviewer, and their profile is unclaimed. Suspect. Company ships from China, however, pretend to be USA-based. The lanyards are fair quality **when they arrive**. They use DHL, and 40% of the shipments never arrive.
