You can only use the custom stitching/patch/artwork you create and pay for ONE TIME. THAT IS IT. If you want to re-order products or multiple products, do not use this company!!
Will gladly take your money by listing stock they never have on their website.
Getting the money back involved chargebacks if you were lucky enough to use a credit card instead of a debit.

I ordered a customized fitted hat from Customlids.ca for over $80. They sent the wrong size hat, then basically said, sorry, it’s customized so you can’t return it. Now I have to find some way to shrink my head two sizes or I’m out $80. Thanks Custom Lids. See exact response from “customer care” below:

After 2 months of waiting for my order (they went back and forth with proposed changes due to inventory problems on their end after 1 month) they cancelled my order due to "inventory issues". Absolutely horrible to deal with and in the end they failed.
Do not buy any custom made products from this company. I designed a hat, and when it showed up, the font was much smaller that the proof that I approved, and they refused to re-make it or refund me. Terrible customer service. There are plenty of better sites to choose from. BUYER BEWARE.
Okay so as per the other reviews, it is very difficult to find their customer service contact e-mail (support @ customlidsweb.zendesk.com..), not the CL one you see on their page. They need to update that.
Also, their proofing e-mails and future updates went straight to my junk inbox so be aware of that. This made the process take two months to get my order.
That said, when I did find the customer service e-mail, they did respond within the timeframe they said so that is good. Also, once I found the proofing e-mail and approved it, I did receive my order within their timeline. Also good.
The hat quality is absolutely fantastic and the embroidery is top-notch. I'm very impressed with it.
The only thing I recommend to potential buyers is to check your junk e-mail and use the customer service e-mail I just dropped in this review.
Stay away! Once ordered, there is no communication, no way to get an update, no phone / chat / email support. $500 and two weeks later I have NOTHING, not even word anything happened. Just a receipt from Shopify and a Fanatics support org that can't help.
I placed an order for 8 custom hats that I never received. I waited nearly 2 months for these hats, only for them to tell me they ran out of stock for the hat that I wanted my design to be printed on. How does a hat company run out of hats? Not only is the shipping time unreliable, their customer service was just as horrible. Not once did they provide a status update on my order. I had to email them twice to check if they even knew about my order.

My order had the wrong shipping info. The order was sent back and is still being held at the their local post office! I just want a refund at this point. It takes 2 weeks to get a response there is no phone number to contact so I'm going to have to call my bank and issue this as fraud. Sucks!
After creating a hat that took several hours to make now it won't let me upload it to the shopping cart with hours of glitching and reuploading from the start this website sucks
I received a badly lopsided custom hat. Stitching is bad on the Nike hat. Seems like a factory reject hat that I paid way too much to be customized. Embroidery is good though. Wish it wasn’t done on a defect hat, worthless
They run small after it’s all said and done, ordered a L/XL and a S/M for my business, they both run too small to even use so money down the drain don’t waste yours.
Poor quality and no customer service, ordered hats with a clean simple white logo that consists of 7 lowercase letters and a period, black snapbacks with white raised stitch lettering, period is oval and is supposed to be round, stitching is fraying upon arrival, overall bad quality of workmanship, custom lids says that the work within specification, forced to dispute via my bank but a review is warranted to help then next person avoid poor quality and service. I would use a different company for custom hats.
I ordered a new era 59fifty fitted hat which came in a reasonable time and it was great. I was so impressed with the product. Therefore, I ordered a second new era 59fifty fitted hat which came in a reasonable time but had an awful experience. The second hat graphic was great. The graphic was exactly what I was wanting. The fit of the hat, on the other hand, was not correct. The tag said it was the right size, but it was either poorly constructed or stretched out during customization. The hat was much bigger in size. I reached out to support and they said the size is correct and would not replace or refund. They said they would give me 15% off of another purchase. It appears the quality of the products at custom lids is hit or miss which is disappointing considering the price of the product. Do not recommend unless you like to gamble!
Ordered six hats, some shirts, and some hoodies. Order said fully fulfilled. Same tracking number attached to every single item. Only the hats arrived. The box wasn't even large enough to hold more than the six hats. After reading other reviews, it's clear to me this business is not to be trusted.
Worst company for custom hats , they use a horrible mock up software and they mess up my order giving me two hats with the same logo and they never respond for a refund. Stay away from this company and save some money and headaches
I will never order a custom hat from here again. Not only does it take wayyy longer than they say, the proofs are VERY poor. And when you inquire with support as to why the proof looks the way it does, all they say is "it won't look like that when it's complete"... and when it finally got here it looked WORSE! Not to mention 75$ in! You would think quality would not be an issue. If I could put -5 I would. Rant over.
I ordered 23 hats from them. Their website said expected shipping date was within 12days before I paid for them.They took almost a month to ship my order. Horrible experiences.
