Be careful!!
the billing: it costs €1,99 for full access for two weeks, but afterwards it charges you with €20.99, without telling you you had an active subscription. when I called them out on this they told me they would drop the charges if I posted a positive review, sounds like extortion to me. Be careful!

🚫 Very bad experience with cvmaker.nl 🚫
🚫 Very bad experience with cvmaker.nl 🚫
This website operates by misleading customers. The payment is presented as a small one-time fee for creating a CV ($1.95), but in reality, it secretly activates a monthly subscription without clear warning. This practice is abusive and seriously undermines customer trust.
I never requested any subscription, yet they continued to withdraw money from my account without authorization. After requesting cancellation and a refund, they showed no transparency and no accountability.
⚠️ Beware! Do not use cvmaker.nl – it is a service that exploits payments and does not respect its customers.

Dear l.T.
Thank you for your review.
Our service indeed works based on a subscription (just like any other cv website).
The costs for our service can easily be found on the specifically designed pricing page: www.cvmaker.nl/prijzen, on our payment page (which also mentions the renewal price) and in the email with information that you received from us which specifically mentions the price as well as the date of the renewal.
A subscription service is the only service we provide. The payment of 1,99 euros is also for a subscription for a trial period of 14-days, in which you need to cancel (just as explained on our website).
If you have any further questions regarding our service, feel free to contact our support steam.

Making a resume is incredibly easy with this service. I found this website through a friend’s recommendation and I’m very pleased. The resume is easy, quick and looks sleek and professional. It was also easy to make different versions of the same resume: I’ve made a Dutch one, an English one, and one that focuses on a different aspect of my job. I would def recommend using this place to make a resume!
Do beware that this is a paid service with little notifications of continuing. So make sure to cancel in time if you want to.

If its legal - doesn't mean its right
If its legal, doesn't mean its right.
Same story as many others have. 2USD now, 25 later. Tecnically they do warn you with one line, but its so easy to miss. And there is no other notifications ever.
Its been made intentional, for sure.
Also, I had a few such issues with other companies - a refund has never been declined. Normal companies prefer reputation over 25 bucks. This is the first one for me that doesnt.
