Lack of basic standards and unprofessional
I had an absolutely terrible experience with CVM Preston. I called today to make a simple enquiry about a steering rack issue that my mechanic had already diagnosed. All I wanted was to book an appointment and get it sorted — nothing complicated.
Instead, I was met with one of the rudest and most unprofessional people I’ve ever spoken to. The guy who answered the phone clearly had no interest in listening, kept interrupting, and was outright disrespectful from the start. When he finally agreed to speak with my mechanic, he didn’t even bother to have a proper conversation — he just hung up mid-call after being insulting.
This isn’t just bad service, it’s a complete lack of basic professionalism. If you can’t do the job, just say so politely. That’s the bare minimum any business should be capable of. Instead, they chose to be dismissive, arrogant, and disrespectful to both me and my mechanic.
I don’t know how their actual work is, and at this point I don’t care. With service like this, I wouldn’t trust them with anything. One staff member like this damages the entire company’s reputation.
Extremely disappointing. I will never use them again and definitely won’t recommend them to anyone. Avoid at all costs.
