Tracey updated my CV and Cover Letter

Tracey updated my CV and Cover Letter. Whilst Tracey was helpful and my CV is looking more professional, I feel my Cover Letter is a lot longer than my original one and I personally don't think it is selling me and/or employers don't have the time to read through it all.
My responses back are zero now, whereas before I was getting maybe one or two responses.
I may have to revert back to my previous cover letter :/
