All right as long as you deal with junior staff

Some of the junior staff are fine but the others can get aggressive if there's a complaint. In fact, that's not quite fair - they can be quite helpful depending on their mood. Other times you get a 'you shoulda seen that when you bought it, fella,' attitude. A bit of a mare dealing with them as the salesman you deal with agrees something and then gets over-ruled by his boss, who starts demanding more money, undermining the poor kid you've struck a deal with. I'd avoid them and, even though they eventually - after a lot of argument - offered me free labour on a repair to the 'mint' bike they'd sold me, the experience of dealing with them was so stressful I decided to take it elsewhere and pay. Reluctant to give receipts. Getting one was like blood from a stone.

Reckless and Irresponsible disregard…

Reckless and Irresponsible disregard for life!
Bought a quad based on photos seen and the promise "It has been through the workshop and it's sound". An entire front wheel rim split, not safe to drive - they ended up replacing both front wheels, 4 wheel drive never worked - they claimed repeatedly when we asked several times that it had not been in an accident.....we were highly suspicious due to the evidence, so took it to an independent Polaris agent for a report. They said it took them 1 hour to find a snapped and rusted chassis in multiple places, their independent report said "We will not drive this machine, it's a risk to life, it's the sort of thing you see come through an auction".

We only need a quad to tow firewood off our land, we gave not had the opportunity to use it yet as it's in the workshop still and CW Bikes Ltd will not refund the £5000 purchase price minus transport expenses that we're happy to deduct.

The photos are genuine, get in touch to see the report - come down and see me, I'll be there handing out flyers documenting my experience at weekends.

Unfortunately am unable to give 0 as…

Unfortunately am unable to give 0 as hoped to do!! To warn other customers like myself away from this company!!

Bought a YZ 450 anniversary quad bike from this company,
Good communication whilst money was being exchanged, after collection of quad within 3 weeks problems began happening!
Now resulting in a £1300 bill, after numerous attempts of contacting this company and asking for advice and help.
They haven’t even had the decency to return one call or email.
Each time we ring and make contact we are told the manager is out of office, and a message has been passed on and he will get back to us ASAP!
This has never happened, instead we have been palmed off from one representative the the next who provide us with the same excuses! One lady even had the audacity to lie to me and tell
Me she was texting her manager whilst being on an active call with me and he would respond in the next half hour.

Again that never happened, would never recommend this company, also they state they are FCA registered on their website and after investigating this and making a formal
Complaint to the financial ombudsman was notified that this company has not been FCA registered since 2018.
Therefore this is a fraudulent portrayal on their website, giving customers a false sense of security (unbeknown to us as many others until the deal is done)

Steer clear of this company!!

They are happy to help in the beginning stages, but when problems arise, the after care is horrendous and very unprofessional.

Hopefully they can learn from their negligence so no other customer had to be left with a vehicle they’ve purchased which has not been road worthy for the duration of possession.

Would give 0 if I could

Would give 0 if I could. Do not buy, asked for deposit (10%) so sent deposit, I was told there was a mistake and the deposit was actually 15% so paid that everything seemed fine and genuine. Then was told actually deposit was 20% !! We said no way. What's upsetting is that my 14 year old had saved up his money for it only to have scum steal it off him appx £550 gone....when called first time he was not there then second time got through to office and said they never heard of him. Then when we rang the following day we were told we would get a refund within 3 working days....guess what, no refund given so now its a road trip to go and get our money. What has the world come to where you think its fine to steal off people especially children who we try to teach right from wrong.

Callan Wood scammed me out of over £2k for an item that never turned up. He ignores my messages and has not provided a refund. This was almost a year ago. Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere where they may have integrity and abide by the Consumer Rights Act.

CW Bikes Bognor

CW Bikes Bognor

Beware when purchasing anything from this company. If you really have to buy with Visa card.
I purchased a bike(Honda CR 85 2006) from this company for my son. About a year later I went to px the bike at reputable motorcycle dealer in Winchester. When the bike was examined the chassis number the were not sure about the model and year, so refused to take the bike in PX. I approached Honda UK with the chassis number and they sent the following back, “According to the provided VIN: JH2HE04A02K060575, we can confirm that our database has this motorcycle recorded as a CR80 from the year 2002”.
I contacted CW Bikes and began communicating with the Managing Director Callan Wood who assured me that all the bikes were fully checked.
Wood said that he would buy the bike back but obviously at a lower price than I purchased it for it as I had it for sometime.
I decided to go back to MBNA visa the card I purchased the bike on and after several months I have received the full amount back of £2100.
Please if you can purchase a bike from somewhere else go there rather than here. If you do purchase anything from here take someone who knows about unregistered bikes as they are not always as they are advertised. Everything in this review can be backed up with emails from. Honda UK, MBNA visa and CW bikes.

Cowboys

Avoid.

Bought a “mint” YFZ450 from them remotely.
Quad turned up -

No log book
No licence plate

Upon inspection -
Rear drive shaft had been bodged with 2 bolts holding the wheel in due to rounding the shaft
No lens cover for rear light
Speedo not working
Oil leak on the top end

Spoke to Callan and his response was “what do you expect”

Absolute cowboy.

Must Read!

Sold me a bike and failed to provide me with the necessary things in order to use the bike! Following his ‘mistake’ they then failed to send out my items and after 1 week and a apparent lost parcel i finally received my parts i should have when buying the bike for thousands of pounds. I get it people make mistakes, BUT… Dean gave me a brief apology once i finally got through to him and sent me out some 2nd hand grips with holes in them! It is embarrassing… if you are going to run a business do it properly. And if your thinking of buying from CW bikes limited make sure they send everything out because otherwise you will be sitting with a brand new bike for 7/8 days that you cannot ride due to the shops lack of professionalism.

Shockingly awful company and people

I purchased my dream car Audi TT RS from CW Bikes. My dream quickly turned into a nightmare. The car has broken down on every journey I have attempted. Callan and Dean have blocked me on their mobile numbers. They don’t answer my number but they do answer if I call from another number. They put me hold until I give up! Their customer service disappeared the day after I took delivery of this car. The car is currently at a local garage and deemed dangerous, so dangerous that they can’t give it back to me!!! I have lost the will to even try to speak with anybody at CW Bikes because they tell me that I must have mental health issues. I’m still waiting for a V5 in my name too. I feel I’ve been left with no option but to involve trading standards. The car is not driveable right now due to excessive damage to the transfer box and bearing seizure. Don’t even think about buying anything from these sharks because you will end up in this nightmare too. CW Bikes have not responded to any messages or letters to date. DO NOT USE
