Top Quality Garden Furniture
First time dealing with Cyan and probably wont be the last. Excellent product; well made teak outdoor table and chairs; haven’t found a single knot in the timber. As a retired engineer i liked this: all four table legs were individually labelled, meaning they are custom fit. Cute :-)
[a tip if you plan to dismantle for winter storage: mark the legs and the frame with carpenters marks - ie use a screw driver to make a discreet indent on leg and frame: I to I , II to II, III to III, IIII to IIII ].
The build quality is pretty good for outdoor carpentry; it is rock-solid with absolutely no joint flex. While i much prefer the grey ageing finish aesthetically; practically i oil outdoor timber, principally because its good quality, and, it aint cheap. So worth spending a bit of time keeping it clean and well oiled at the end of each season (paying particular attention to the leg endgrain).
The company its self is very good to deal with; while the highest praise by far goes to the be-spoke delivery man - what a cracking bloke! Went the extra mile and helped me carry the furniture behind the property before helping assemble the table. What a refreshing change from generic couriers like DPD where half the stuff is either bust up or missing.
Would i buy again? yes without question.

This has to be one of the fastest turn round of any order for an item of furniture. Order over the weekend delivered on the Tuesday.
Both items in stock. delivered by Cyans own vehicle and the driver placed the items onto our driveway. He then asked if we needed any help placing the items in the garden. A positive experience all round. Great quality products at good price.

Only down side was 2 day delivery slot, but very good quality furniture.
Driver also very helpful.

Unhelpful and evasive
Purchased two large cantilever parasols but were incredibly unhelpful/evasive when I needed to see if one could be repaired, the call agent who was clearly speaking directly to a director came back and said "they don't take phone calls" So there you have it spend a considerable amount of money with Cyan and they are not interested after they have your money-avoid!

We do always try to assist customers where possible, including with products purchased some time ago. In this case, the cantilever parasols were purchased around six years ago, and unfortunately, we no longer hold the replacement fittings required for that model.
We appreciate this was not the answer you were hoping for, and we are sorry if our communication came across as unhelpful. That was not our intention. While we are unable to supply discontinued replacement parts in this instance, our team did review the enquiry and provided the information available to us at the time.
We remain committed to supporting our customers wherever reasonably possible and are sorry that we could not offer a repair solution on this occasion.

Extremely helpful customer service. Listened, sorted out the issue and I couldn’t be happier. Very pleasant lady who dealt with my query. Phone answered promptly. No hold music, no AI generated chat, just helpful human being who was understanding and accommodating. On top of which, we love the furniture. So all in all very satisfied.

Very poor delivery of table and 4’chairs.
The furniture is extremely good quality. A higher price tag than other companies but it’s a quality item - table + chairs. Extremely heavy. In have given the company 1* as the delivery service was appalling! One man delivered it at 7am and expected me to help him carry it from the truck to the garden and claimed i had agreed to it which I most certainly hadn’t. He reluctantly brought the 4 x chairs through to the courtyard/ not even the garden and moaned - 50m from the van!
If an item requires 2 people to deliver it then pay and charge customer for 2 man delivery BUT don’t send 1 angry driver to deliver it and expect an old lady to help him!
He subsequently tore open the box and left it in the lane ! Who knows why!
A pity delivery was such a shoddy experience
Following on from your reply - to be clear - the driver did NOT make any arrangement with me. / nor did you / about having assistance with the delivery. His paperwork stated that I had agreed to assist with the delivery which I very much did not
IF you make only a kerbside delivery - then make this clear - which you did not !
The “!narrow alleyway” you describe is NOT that narrow and is clearly accessible.
A 7am delivery at the far end of Cornwall was of course a surprise - and the driver was most rude !
So yes - a disappointing delivery and clearly he has lied to you about access
This was kerbside only and his paperwork was incorrect to say I would assist.
You need be much more clear about it being kerbside ONLY
I wouldn’t have ordered it on that basis !

Having reviewed the delivery, we understand our driver spoke with you beforehand to agree the delivery arrangements and where the furniture would be placed. We also send a delivery email in advance asking customers to ensure there is suitable access and assistance available if required for particularly heavy items.
In this case, access to the garden was via a narrow alleyway, meaning our delivery trolley could not be used. Despite this, our driver carried all four chairs through by hand, which was beyond what would normally be expected in those circumstances. We're sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations, as this is never the impression we want to leave.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your comments, and we're glad you're enjoying the quality of your furniture.

Quality bench, convenient delivery - will purchase from them again
I found Cyan online as they had exactly what I was looking for. I've now received my order and both ordering and booking delivery were very straightforward (they deliver themselves and booking delivery is arranged via an e-mail link sent after ordering). Delivery was on time and the deliver driver was helpful and friendly (despite the hot day). I appreciated the provision of care instructions on the site before ordering as well as linked on important information. One month in, I am very happy with the item and definitely plan to use Cyan Furniture again in the future.

Very high quality teak garden furniture in terms of material, design and craftsmanship. Slightly higher price tag than some competitors but worth paying a little extra for a better quality product.
