My advice would be to avoid. Communication is shocking and combined with data breaches and taking bulk payments due to personnel and system errors I have lost all faith in this company. To be lied to by the manager who doesn't call back but happily takes my money is unacceptable.
Lovely ladies but they hadn’t been communicated to properly about what jobs to prioritise and they didn’t understand me very well. They didn’t have the right cleaning solutions with them and I had to lend them my anti bac spray. Also things weren’t amazingly clean - I’d asked for a deep clean of bathrooms but toilet seats were still a bit dirty. I paid a lot of money but unfortunately didn’t seem worth it.
Have had a regular fortnightly clean on a two bed appt. for a while. It’s normally the same team of 3 for 45 mins (ie 15 mins), which suits me. They let you know arrival time the day before. No need to entertain them - I just leave the door open and they come in and crack on. Transfer payment on iPhone and they leave a receipt. Pretty thorough for the time they’re on it, reliable (within a variable interpretation of the time slot - normally early). Top end of the price range I’d say but I’ve no complaints. I’d use them again.

The cleaners would go to the toilet without asking, fart openly, break things and not tell me they broke them, often turned up super early and the management seem to be completely unaware of how their own payment system works. I have evidence (it's on my bank statement) that I paid in advance for my first clean, and yet they tried to take money after my final clean. I spent several weeks trying to sort this out with them, each time being told by the receptionist that I would receive a callback that never came. I made my bank aware of this, and it turns out that this isn't the first time that my bank has had problems with this company. I then had to get a new card.
The cleaning itself was okay I suppose, minus the broken items and farting. They would skip obvious things and I would have to remind them of the most obvious things to clean. 3/5 on that front, but there's better and more organised/honest cleaner agencies out there.
I have since moved back to a slightly (and I do mean slightly) more expensive but much more professional service.
This will likely get a response denying everything, but I have proof so... sue me.
Reply to the unsurprisingly immature response: I think that hammers my point home really, shows how unprofessional the management is, and illustrates the ridiculous nature of the cleaners. This review was left after a “discussion” with the management about these issues so they know who I am, and I think their reply speaks for itself. TrustPilot has a report system for non-genuine reviews, and I invite Daily Poppins to use it if they think I’m not genuine. I will then show TrustPilot the text conversation with management.

I booked a Maxi Deep Clean with Basingstoke Daily Poppins last week, paying £260. Unfortunately, the service fell far short of what was advertised. What should have been a thorough, professional clean turned out to be a basic, surface-level job.
Several key areas were neglected entirely—skirting boards in bedrooms, the top of the shower head, corners of rooms left unhoovered—which gave the impression of a rushed or lazy effort. There was no communication during or after the clean to explain why these areas were missed.
Initially, Agnes offered to have the team return to rectify the issues, but when I pointed out that I’d already had to finish the job myself and asked for either a refund or a return visit, I was told I would need to pay more. This was deeply frustrating given the original job had not been completed to a reasonable standard.
Regrettably, I paid upfront before reading these reviews—something I won’t do again. If you're happy to pay a premium for a basic tidy, this may be the company for you. Otherwise, I would strongly suggest avoiding. I've heard more positive things about the Reading branch, but sadly that hasn’t been our experience in Basingstoke.
Buyer beware. Currently fighting for a partial refund for breach of contract of services and will not let this go.

Would not recommend. Rude and incompetent staff. We had issues from the word go. They charge 3 cleans up front, which we were not expecting, when we questioned this, as the terms say two cleans up front, they just stated they need another one in advance just in case. As we were not happy with this random way of working, we asked for it to be cancelled (this is after just one clean), well within the 14 days allowed for free cancellation for any services in relation to UK law. They did not give us a full refund (after three weeks of asking) as they stated that we were under contract and had a discount in place which they now removed. Sketchy to me. Wouldn’t have bothered with this review but the lady handling our case Agnes was incredibly rude throughout.

If there was an option to choose NO stars I would've selected that. I had two surly people turn up, no ID, 'clean' my kitchen – leaving the hobs smeared, the ovens caked in white product and a pool of dirty product on the floor – in short in much worse condition than they found them. In addition to this they damaged the paintwork of my bespoke kitchen cupboard with industrial strength product which, when I wiped off a huge dollop that had dropped on it, the paint came off on the cloth. They spoke very little English so impossible to communicate with them on any aspect of their service.I paid 100% up front which I will NEVER do again and I would urge you to find another company. This business is without shame. And, as the customer, you will not be taken seriously if you have a complaint. Horrendous and traumatic.

I've been using this service, and the staff is really nasty, their time management is terrible, and their cleaning is deplorable, as they dust or hoover incorrectly.I advise that the manager adequately train them. The cleaning per hour is excessive, and the service they provide is a waste of time and money.

Three ladies came from Daily Poppins came to clean my house in Windsor just before the family arrived for Christmas. They were absolutely FANTASTIC! They worked very hard, without a break, making an extraordinary improvement to the two bathrooms and kitchen, transforming my dusty bedroom and leaving the rest of the house looking so much better... I was delighted and have already booked them post-Christmas.

Recent clean has been incredibly poor. I have had no feedback from the company as to when this will be rectified. £107 for a 2 hour clean which I have had to repeat myself. Very disappointed. Oxford branch.
30/12. Response to your comment- 2 cleaners came for 1 hour total, I do understand the concept of this. I therefore paid for a 2 hour clean. Not a 4 hour clean. I contacted the company 3 times to provide feedback and request a call back to discuss the poor clean. I have heard nothing back, leaving me no choice but to leave a poor review.
I have had no contact from the company so your response is inaccurate.
I would welcome the opportunity for you to provide the service I have paid for and resolve this issue.

It’s interesting instead of accepting responsibility for short comings you try to just blame a change in date which as you said you made the exception for. If your business needs three days to make a change don’t accept the request if you cannot then provide the service. If this was reason as you claim they weren’t able to come in the specified time why were they over an hour after the specified time the previous week on the scheduled day?
Also to clarify I did not refuse service as you so put, I called and left a voicemail explaining its was 30minutes after they were supposed to arrive and on this occasion I needed to leave shortly which was before they had arrived. It was only when I’d left that I found them sat outside the building smoking that the lady came to speak to me and I explained I had called and asked to rearrange as I had an appointment I needed to leave for in 30minutes. I think you should focus on the more worrying aspects of the review such as the level of service being provided and the fact your employees are breaking things and not letting anyone know which you conveniently haven’t acknowledged instead of trying to make a point about why you charged me for the cleaners because they arrived after the specified time just because we changed the date last minute (at your approval).
Original review: I would not recommend this company. We used them for Newbury and we would get different people each week, who barely speak any English which made communicating really difficult. On one of the last few appointments I’d been told the cleaners would arrive between 9am-11am and they didn’t turn up until 12.15pm and then the following week we were told again they’d be with us 9am - 11am but at 11.40am they hadn’t arrived and on that day I had to leave by 1.15pm for a doctors appointment so they wouldn’t have enough time to clean before I needed to leave when I rang the office to explain they hadn’t turned I got no answer so left a voicemail. After leaving my house I turned the corner to find them sat in the car smoking and when head office called back to say they’d be with me shortly I explained they’d need to come back later or tomorrow as I had an appointment the lady got really rude and defensive and argued they needed a break (I don’t object to this but surely this should be scheduled in to their day not so they turn up at someone’s house and sit outside smoking). She also told me they’d be charging me because it was in the terms and conditions they can’t guarantee the time, what’s the point of giving a timeframe if you just expect people to be available at any time? The standard of clean was really bad, they wouldn’t dust anything, they would move things around and never put them back where they should be and one of the cleaners smashed a photo frame and left it with smashed glass on the side. Some weeks they’d empty the bins and others they wouldn’t and one week they left the bin bag outside my door without saying anything. After cancelling the entire service on the phone with the rude customer service agent they then turned up again the following week as my new cleaner hadn’t yet started I let them in to clean and there was 3 of them, they were only there for 15minutes (I pay £57 for 110minutes) so I got 45minute clean and was still charged the full price and the clean was awful and meant we had to follow up again to ensure they didn’t continue to send them when we’d cancelled the service.

Wouldn’t even give one star, changed the start time which wasn’t what was agreed but wouldn’t change it back as they were short staffed. Ended up with only two cleaners for 2 hours so 240 mins when I paid for 440 so disappointed defo wouldn’t recommend this company at all

I would strongly advise against using this service (Basingstoke).
They delay all time even when I call them to remind that the cleaning date and time but they always forgot it
They were good for a few weeks but the cleaners changed and the new cleaner were too lazy to clean.
Extremely efficient and very willing to accommodate my requirements!
I needed a whole empty flat cleaned ready for rental - Daily Poppins did an excellent job and speedily!
Jill went out of her way to sort this out for me and I am delighted
