My order was not delivered due to a communication error, now sorted.

Due to a misunderstanding the commencing delivery date should have been given as 7 days ahead. Perhaps the initial page should clearly state a delivery date, or maybe I just didn't see it!

inconsistant delivery

Used the service for 8 weeks, and on 2 different occasions our milk and fruit was not delivered.
The customer service made it incredibly hard to cancel, and it took numerous backwards and forwards to get the service cancelled with cryptic messages.
Its a really wonderful idea, and something I could really get behind but its let down by the execution and customer service.

Difficult to cancel..…

I didn't mind paying a bit over the top for the convenience of having every day essentials delivered each week. However when my circumstances changed it took several weeks to cancel my order. For that reason I will not use this service again.

Hi Rodney,

Sorry to see you've left a 2 star review of your service with Dairy Drop. We do offer the prices that are directly set up by the Dairy.

We understand some people aren't financially in a position to use the service, especially in the current climate.

As this was a personal issue - we do hope you enjoyed the Dairy Drop service while on board with us.

Thanks,

Dairy Drop Support

They don’t want me.

I wanted to sign up to receive milk, but the website led me on. I expected to be getting milk and the person just cancelled on me as he is “now full or don’t fit his route”
They shouldn’t have led me on and let me connect all my card details to tell me the next day that my subscription is cancelled.

Hi Atanas,

Sorry to see you've left us a one star review.

We'd never just cancel a customer for any reason apart from an absolutely necessary one. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic ,we are experiencing some dairies are reducing their rounds down due to this. As you can imagine, this is a difficult time for everyone in the doorstep groceries business.

We value every customer and wouldn't cancel anyone's order unless we completely had too.

Thanks,

Dairy Drop Support

Need to sort out communication

Not great service - very hard to use app as amendments not always updated unless you are adding more goods.

Delighted to get fresh bottled milk…

Delighted to get fresh bottled milk delivered to my doorstep.
Clearly what with pandemic, lockdowns etc plus early days teething troubles the deliveries have been fairly random but it looks like settling down.
Organic milk's been promised but none appeared yet.

I'm very happy. Looking forward to proper regularity

Don't bother unless you have time for lots of troubleshooting

- Some teething problems setting up. These were sorted through email & phone with customer services.
- Asked for milk on 2 days/week, whole order got lumped into one - no notice or explanation.
- App is not good - can't cancel through it or amend existing orders and consistently displayed wrong info about when milk would be delivered.
- Milk was delivered on Thursdays for the first two weeks, then on a Tuesday - no notice or explanation.
- For final delivery was told by email it would come on a Tuesday, hasn't arrived so presumably it'll be Thurs 🤷‍♀️.
- Milk was wrong type one week, and had gone off the next week.
- I cancelled after 3 (of 4) deliveries, but they still tried to charge me in advance for the next month (luckily had frozen my card to stop this having read reviews).
- Unpleasant responses to customers on the apple app store reviews. Also check out the @dairydropuk twitter account replies for a laugh.

Hi RL,

Apologies about the experience you've received.

We have a few issues with the dairy that was making your deliveries that we're in the process of ironing out. This seems to have affected your experience.

Great milk delivery

Great, simple and easy service for having a milkman. Monthly payments all logged in the app which enables you to set holidays / amend your order etc.

Excellent service & range

I've used Dairydrop for almost two months now and really pleased with the quality service provided.

Simply sign up and off you go with deliveries at your door ready for breakfast. I highly recommend their orange juice too.

Top company and some of my family now use them too - great job guys!

This company is useless

This company is useless to the point of fraudulent. I signed up, have had money taken every month and there is no way to cancel the transactions. Emails go ignored and there is no contact phone number. I am reporting them to trading standards. DO NOT USE> SCAM

I'd like to follow up by saying that, since writing this I have reported the company to my bank and to Action Fraud. I did finally receive a refund after making a huge fuss. However, I have also received a string of email abuse from someone called Jason Clare. I have been called a 'keyboard warrior', told 'a 5 year old child' could work out the app and a range of other such insults as well as threats of legal action for slander (clearly the aren't actually in touch with a lawyer, as slander refers to spoken defamation, not written). This amounts to harassment in my view. I am truly staggered at this company's behaviour and will continue to report this to relevant authorities until such a time as they can behave within the bounds of the law and decency.
