I was actually amazed at how helpful the techs are

I was actually amazed after paying so much for this chair that the repairs would be that painless, but it was all due to the technicians in Southern California working with me on the telephone. Particularly Hyme! He understood what was going on and had the confidence that I could work on the chair somewhat myself and we replace the remote and a circuit board through the mail and that he trusted that I could put it in, which was fairly simple. This way we determine the problem to the chair and thankfully it’s working again as I really like this chair. The cost doing it this way it was very low, as opposed to having to take the chair to a shop. Thank you Hyme.

The Daiwa Supreme Hybrid is not for everyone

The Daiwa Supreme is not for everyone. I purchased and tested it for two weeks and concluded that it would not work for me. The good things are that it is a comfortable chair, it appears to be heavy duty, it is pleasant looking, and the stretch program is INCREDIBLY powerful. For those wanting stretch, this is it (my back cracked every time, it was just short of painful). There are three reasons for return (they are the three missing stars). 1) The programming is woefully inadequate. I have owned two previous chairs in the moderate price range and their programming was way superior. Programming the rollers and orchestrating the aircells are the heart of the chair. It is the personality.
One example: ALL of the 12 auto programs use only low speed range and 2-4-6 width, ALL OF THE TIME. They spent nothing on programming. 2) The upper rollers when travelling vertically, roll over the vertebrae a lot, and smash C6-T2. (beware this problem, it is painful). 3) The final complaint is delicately sensitive: how can I put this? The bottom roller carriage (4 rollers) which claim to be gluteus
maximus massagers do not go out from the center. They are rollers but feel like probes and they are probing in restricted territory!
I could describe the characteristics but (butt?) the reader should self explore.
I realize that this review is disturbing. I wish I read it first. I switched to the Super Novo after a test drive.

Given the situation, we would like to discuss with you the proper operation and functions of the chair. It seems like you did not have a chance to learn more functions of the chair to unlock its full potential. The speed, strength, and width range of the chair are fully customizable. The rollers in the bottom of the chair, as well as the back rollers, are not physically capable of of reaching the center of the chair, therefore, they should not be capable of rolling over the vertebrae or the between the buttocks.

Best massage chair!

My husband and I tried out massage chairs back in Dec and fell in love with the new Daiwa Hybrid Supreme. We have had it for a couple months now and use the chair daily. The Illinois branch was a pleasure to deal with when I called with questions about my massage chair. Highly recommend Daiwa!

Great chair, great delivery

Our new Daiwa Hubble was just delivered today! I'm in the Seattle area. The wait was only 10 days from the time I ordered it, and the two delivery guys were terrific. I'm still learning all the chair settings (there are tons) but it's clearly a very nice piece of machinery, and I feel like I made the right choice.

My new Legacy 4 was delivered today

My new Legacy 4 was delivered today. So far, this has been an all-around excellent experience. Rolly and Bill were excellent to work with. They did everything that they said they would do. I was able to “test drive” several Daiwa chairs in their Lombard Illinois showroom. I picked the Legacy 4. Less than a week later, it was delivered and assembled in my basement. The two Daiwa delivery men were competent, efficient, courteous, and professional. They wore masks in my house and removed their shoes before they came in. They assembled the chair, tested it, and gave me a demonstration of its features.

After I’ve had a chance to gain some experience with the chair, I’ll report back.

Don't take care of their customers

Purchased our Daiwa chair in July 2019, 6-months later, it no longer works. Has not worked since February 2020. I've called every week for over 6-months trying to get help, they've tried to be helpful over the phone but at this point are just brushing me off.
At this point we need someone to come service our chair and they claim they will not be servicing their products and doing good by their customers because of Covid. I understand that safety is a priority but wearing a mask and other safety garments should be sufficient enough for them to service their customers chairs. Spending $7,000 on this chair for it to work 6-months is ridiculous and frankly, careless on behalf of Daiwa. They don't plan to start servicing their products anytime soon, which means I have this huge, expensive chair that is just wasting space.
Last communication with them was this past week when I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. They transferred me to a voicemail and I still have heard nothing back... surprise, surprise!

I have owned my Legacy 4 for 7 months and am awaiting repair.

I have owned my Legacy 4 for 7 months and loved it until the rollers quit moving up the back (center rollers?). I was showing my family its attributes until this happened...I'm anxious to see the Daiwa response time for repair.

purchased the Daiwa 9100 Legacy and Love it!!! only problem trying to move to my new house and i dont know how to take apart enough to get thru the doors. i didnt get a manual with it.

Do not buy this company chair

Do not buy this company chair. It is garbage. I brought it and it broke in 6 month. It took 2 month to fix but they couldn't fix so They change to new. It broke again in 9 month. Warranty is only 1 year so they want to charge $550 to fix now. After 2 years they will charge parts. your reply do not seems to help me at all. you write reply so that people could see your company could help. my point is your massage chair do not last 1 year. you have to fix the problem on your chair.

Defected Roller Daiwa Legacy…

We purchased our Daiwa Legacy (DWA-9100) on august 26, 2017 and the center rollers quit working in December of 2019. Luckily it was still under warranty (3 years)! Called U.S. Jaclean, Inc. in April and now mid June yet to get replacement part! From what I read on this site and others, the roller is defected part and just matter of time to stop functioning! It seems it's just problematic with these chair and not recommending it (spend thousands of $$$$). Mid June, finally received the roller just to find out they sent the wrong roller. Now, two weeks later still waiting to hear from the company (U S Jaclean, Inc)!

The product is very effective and easy…

The product is very effective and easy to use. Love its different programs and bluetooth connectivity for music and digital books. The stretch program is more effective on my back than any other equipment I bought to relieve my back pain. I now pop into my massage chair so much more times than I pop pills - lowering my need to inject chemicals for pain - liberating.

Great service!

Gyms are closed due to covid19 so I found my dad's dusty US Jaclean (daiwa) ez bike in the garage to use. However, the AA battery still left corroded the head unit and was no longer operational. You still don't need it but thought I'd give them a call/email to get a replacement. The customer service (Charles Ishida) was very accommodating, communicative and thoughtful. I was able to purchase the head unit at a reasonable rate.

Fortunately, I live near their office so I was able to visit their showroom and test their massage chairs. Overall, the ez bike ain't no Peloton, no bells and whistle but just plain, simple, no frills exercise bike. Thanks Charles @ Daiwa!

This a great chair!

This a great chair for sure!
3 yrs ago I purchased a legacy model and during that time no problems and I used it daily before I go into my hot tub.which I think that is positive. plus anyone whoever visits us it seems they go right to the chair. I wonder if they come to see us or just the chair. this year we went to the home show in mpls and purchased the Daiwa Pegasus2. The only thing I can complain about is that the Bluetooth constantly disconnects but it does that on my other bluetooth items I have and the voice command Control goes on while watching tv which is weird but sometimes Alexa answers also.So maybe its not a complaint then. Other than that it’s incredible, I use it twice a day every day, it has definitely helped my back pain and shoulders from my stressed job. other thing that is nice to see is the 2 pockets, one for cell phone and the other for the controller. I don't need to leave it hanging on arm rest.
the delivery was 1 day earlier than schedule and that was cool. the 2 members were great from the Illinois Branch. they installed it fast and efficient. now my older kids are wondering who am I going to give the chair to when I pass away. told them I'm taking it with me.:) :)

Broken Daiwa

We purchased our Daiwa Legacy (DWA-9100) on October 23, 2016 and the center rollers quit working in September of 2019 (not replaced until October 2019). Luckily it was still under warranty! Although you still have to pay $350 for them to come out to fix anything. They could not fix the center rollers so the technician brought in a new chair (just the center of the chair is new they put my original sides and foot rest back on) It's now March, 2020 and the rollers quit working. We do not use this chair daily so how could the center rollers already be broken. I called Daiwa today 3/12/20 and we did some trouble shooting, sure enough it needs new center rollers. Our options are to have them come out again for $350 plus the cost of the new roller assembly or we can purchase the roller assembly from them and change it ourselves. I watched the video and it's not an easy task. This chair was quite the investment so I hope Daiwa does the right thing.

**UPDATE: 10/23/20
So due to the coronavirus Daiwa could not come out to fix our massage chair in March. I texted them on June 15th to see if they were back up and running. I'm not sure if they would have ever contacted me back. They texted me back on the 15th and said they would check with their repair department and get back to us. Never heard back so I texted them again on June 22nd and then they set up an appointment for June 25th to work on our massage chair and realized they could not fix it at our house. They needed to take it back to there shop to work on it. They brought it back the next day and the chair worked again. The technician said they had a bad batch of the center roller (harness) part. It's now October 23rd, 2020 and the same part is broken again. It actually stopped working on October 12th and so I texted Daiwa that day and again on the 15th. NO REPLY! I called in today and did some trouble shooting with a technician. Sure enough the same part needs to be fixed. How can the same part break over and over again. This chair is a lemon! At this point I don't know what to do. What a waste of money.
