Excellent product as always have been using Darla for years never disappointed

You've asked for a review of a purchase when the item was not in stock and the sale was cancelled

I have used Darlac for three separate purchases, so far, and been very pleased with:
1) The ordering process
2) The follow-up communications (order confirmation, despatch notice etc.)
3) The high standard of packaging
4) The free 48-hour delivery
5) oh - and the excellent quality of the products themselves..

I first bought the 5m extendable swop-top pole from Amazon (highly recommended). Then bought swop-top accessories: A gutter brush from eBay (the Darlac shop); then another gutter brush from the Darlac website (they had 50% off some products) - finally (!) a squeegee and two different types of soft brush from their website.

I ordered an item online, on the Darlac website, received an order confirmation and at the bottom of the email it stated that it would take up to 3 working days to process the order and they would email me when it’s done. A week later I called them to find out what happened and they said that they could not find my order- I gave them my order number, my address, full name- nothing. Then they managed to locate my account by my email but said that I only had an account but there was no information about my order. So I had to forward them my order confirmation and a screenshot of a bank transaction. And the next day they came back to me and said that they didn’t have an item and money had been refunded. Not happy at all.

The item I ordered was not despatched within their advertised time. On querying I was advised it was not in stock and they couldn’t say when it would be. I had to insist on a refund which I am awaiting.
Not the customer service one expects!

Best garden tool I have ever bought - makes pruning so easy !

I purchased a pair of Sarah Raven snippers for the process of Deadheading. They are superb in quality and function. The small points enable the stem to be cut, even in crowded foliage.

I ordered, I paid, I got confirmation and I had a delivery. I can only add that the implement I ordered worked better than the old worn out one.

I've used these Darlac snips whilst volunteering for the National Trust at Sizergh. I found I could deadhead very accurately and they are very comfortable to use, so I had to get myself some. Delivery was on time and I'm very happy with them.
