I travelled all the way from London to Bolton just for my driving test, after getting his number from a friend. I used to think I was crazy for making such a long trip just for lessons and a test… but all that changed today when I passed my driving test on the first attempt!

You might not believe this, but I needed three tries to pass my theory test—yet I passed my practical on the first go! It still feels crazy, and I can hardly believe I’ve actually passed.

When it comes to his skills—you can really see his 20 years of experience in every lesson. He works with you to correct even the smallest mistakes, explains everything with real-life scenarios, and keeps going until it really sticks in your mind.

He studies your driving carefully, gives you a realistic timeline, and creates a clear plan to follow. I was in Bolton for just 3 days, and he gave me rigorous training—2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. That intense practice is what made it possible for me to get my license in one attempt.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor. Hafiz K. Mahmood was incredibly patient, kind, and endlessly encouraging throughout the entire learning process. No matter how many times I needed something explained, he was always happy to repeat himself until it truly clicked for me, never once making me feel rushed or discouraged. I want to thank Shabana and Amjad Ali Khan for helping me pass my driving test. They were both so patient and all around amazing teachers and I couldn’t recommend them enough. I passed first time with 0 minors.

My experience with Khadijah at this school couldn’t have been more perfect. she is so calm and patient and roots for you to do your best always. she’s so brilliant at what she does and i wouldn’t have been able to pass first time after 25 hours with her. so so grateful and thankful to her for getting me to where i am!

My son started driving lessons with Usman from Darz driving school only 7 weeks ago due to previous instructor letting him down. Needless to say he passed his driving test today and wouldn’t have done this if it wasn’t for Usman and being such a good instructor. Thank you so much Usman my son wouldn’t have passed without you.

My instructor Sheikh Jamal was absolutely incredible and helped me pass on the first attempt with less than 20 hours of lessons. I’d been through 2 instructors before him who weren’t able to explain as thoroughly or as informative as he did, nor were they able to make me feel comfortable or able to navigate the roads and probably made me even more stressed and believe I couldn’t pass in the time that I ended up passing in!! Couldn’t recommend him enough and would choose him for all young drivers or if I ever had to send any family members or friends to anyone. Many thanks and much love Jamal!
