Sheen is an amazing instructor.

She is patient, knowledgeable, adaptable and genuinely one of the nicest people I have met.

She went above and beyond to get me ready for my test and took time to explain everything in ways which I would understand.

Afzal was my driving instructor and has been brilliant with me from day 1. He focused on making me a strong driver for life, rather than just getting me to pass the test. That focus and Afzal’s method of teaching worked well for me. I passed first time of asking.

Afzal’s greatest trait is his ability to keep his instructions simple & effective. I’ve been taught by Afzal since July and from day 1 until minutes before my test, he kept his instructions and wording the same, which helped me fully understand what I needed to do on the road. Afzal helped breakdown complicated & daunting situations on the road into simple step by step instructions.

Afzal pushes his students more & more each lesson. He aims to expose you to more & more and will communicate with you openly about when you’ve made an error, why the error has occurred, and eventually, he hands over the responsibility to you to show him you’ve understood what he’s been teaching you. It’s a style that will get the best out of you. Afzal wants you to ask a million questions and he’ll answer all million.

Afzal is also a friendly instructor. He helps you feel comfortable, and during lessons will take time to talk to you, get to know you. It helps ease you down whilst you’re getting used to driving on the road.

I cannot recommend Afzal enough. If you want an instructor to teach you how to be a strong drive for life, Afzal will do that.

I had Jamal Sheikh as my driving instructor and i couldnt fault him at all! Amazing teacher and couldnt ask for better, he was very patient and explained everything thoroughly. Thanks to Jamal i managed to pass my test with no faults after only 25 hours of lessons! Would definitely recommend!

Darz driving school arranged lessons for my partner with Hassan Sultan. Hassan S has been great instructor for him. He was a nervous driver and put it off for years but Hassan has worked on his confidence alongside giving him the skills and knowledge. My partner has passed first time with only 3 minors- he never thought he would get over his nerves to drive but every lesson when he came back I could tell Hassan was giving him more and more self confidence. I had my lesson with Sonia, and she’s honestly amazing! After having a bad experience with a previous instructor, she completely changed things for me. She made me feel so comfortable, and everything during the lesson was at my pace. I never felt hesitant to tell her what I was struggling with, and she always put me at ease.

Before trying something new, she brought out this book that worked wonders for me as a visual learner—it really helped things click. I’ll definitely be continuing my lessons with Sonia, and I’d recommend her to anyone who feels anxious or has had bad experiences with driving lessons in the past.

I’m so happy to say I passed my driving test first time! I honestly can’t thank my driving instructor, Afzal, enough for everything he’s done for me throughout my driving journey. Learning to drive was something I’d always wanted to do, but for a long time it felt out of reach. I doubted myself a lot and lacked confidence, but Afzal completely turned that around.

From my very first lesson, he made me feel relaxed and at ease. He’s one of the kindest, most patient, and most encouraging people I’ve ever met. Rather than just pointing out mistakes, he focused on helping me understand what I could improve and explained things clearly and calmly. What really stood out to me was the way he went above and beyond — taking extra time when needed, answering my questions and always making sure I felt supported rather than rushed through his tailored learning approach.

Afzal’s teaching style is truly unique. He creates a calm, pressure-free atmosphere that makes it easy to focus and learn at your own speed. Even on days when I was frustrated or doubting myself, he stayed positive and reassuring, reminding me of how far I’d come. He celebrated every bit of progress, no matter how small, and his dedication and genuine care for his students really set him apart from others.

It’s obvious that Afzal really cares about his students. He doesn’t just prepare you to pass the test – he teaches you how to be a safe, confident driver for life. I’ve picked up so many little tips and habits from him that I know will stick with me whenever I’m on the road.

I’m so grateful for all his patience, support, and encouragement. Passing first time is such a proud moment for me, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without him.
