I cannot provide a written statement saying that Porsche officially confirmed that Dashnova caused the damage, because I would only make that statement if Porsche had explicitly documented it.
What I can state, based on my actual experience, is that the problem with my factory CarPlay/infotainment system occurred after using the Dashnova device. I then had to take my Porsche to an official Porsche service center, where I paid €800 to have the original factory CarPlay functionality restored.
I am therefore not claiming something that I cannot prove. I am describing the sequence of events and the costs I personally incurred.
The fact that more than 3,000 customers use your product, including Porsche drivers, does not establish that there was no compatibility or software issue in my particular vehicle. Every individual case can be different.
If you have technical evidence showing that the Dashnova device could not possibly have caused or contributed to the issue I experienced, I am willing to review it. I would prefer to resolve this based on technical facts rather than on the number of customers using the product.
I understand your position, but I strongly disagree with the way you are characterizing the situation.
I am not claiming that your device physically damaged my Porsche hardware. My point is that after installing and using your device, my factory CarPlay stopped functioning properly, and I subsequently had to take the vehicle to Porsche to have the original CarPlay functionality restored. I paid €800 for this intervention.
Whether the issue was caused directly by the Dashnova device, its software, or an incompatibility with the Porsche infotainment system is something that can be technically investigated. However, simply stating that it is “impossible” because the device connects through CarPlay does not prove that there was no software or compatibility issue.
Regarding my communication with your technician: I was frustrated because I had paid for a product that was supposed to work with my vehicle and instead ended up with a problem that required an €800 intervention. I acknowledge that I may have expressed that frustration strongly, but that does not change the issue I experienced.
I am not interested in a personal argument or in slandering your company. I am sharing my genuine experience as a customer. If you believe my review contains factual inaccuracies, you are welcome to provide technical evidence explaining exactly why the Dashnova device could not have caused or contributed to the issue I experienced.
I am happy to keep this discussion factual and professional.

Extremely disappointing experience with Dashnova.
The device caused problems with the original CarPlay system in my Porsche. I eventually had to take the car to Porsche, where I had to pay €800 to have the original CarPlay system restored to its factory settings.
What makes the experience even worse is how Dashnova handled the situation afterwards. They promised to help me resolve the issue, but then I heard nothing for two weeks. I eventually had to contact them myself and ask when the promised support was actually going to happen. Their response was simply that they were having “problems at the office.” Honestly, that is not an acceptable way to treat a customer.
The device itself barely worked properly and, in my case, ended up causing more problems than it solved.
I am extremely disappointed with the product, the customer service and the lack of follow-up. I would strongly recommend staying away from this product, especially if you are planning to connect it to your original Porsche infotainment system.
In my case: a useless device, poor customer support, and €800 in additional costs at Porsche.
