I have recently taken over as treasurer at our church and needed some guidance to sort out a couple of historic fund differences; The help received from the helpline was outstanding- Adam was extremely helpful, personable and patient; highly recommend!

I received a long and comprehensive reply to my query and my problem is now solved.

I have dealt with the Helpdesk regarding MyFund Accounting on quite a few occasions either by email or over the phone. I have never been disappointed with the responses and have always been met with courteous and helpful answers despite my sometimes simplistic questions!

Well produced and presented slides covering treasurer and gift aid training for churches etc. Very reassuring to have this information to hand when dealing with unexpected transactions or events etc. 1

A company that just want your money above all else. That is true for most companies but I hoped for better from a company that mainly sells to the charitable sector. There are better, cheaper software options out there, particularly for churches.

Someone had made some errors setting up our accounts on the DD MFAO system. Discovered this a few months later and didn't want to mess things up trying to sort it out. Spoke to Carrie - who looked and saw the problem was even bigger than I thought! Carrie talked me through what I needed to do - and my little brain still didn't get it - so she emailed very simple step by step instructions (two seperate times) and we've got there.

I have used Data Developments for almost 2 years whilst a Church Treasurer. There are excellent training videos and the on line courses are very good in enabling you to fund your way around the programme. You can use the Church of England settings so year end reports complies with what is required. It gives a structure which can be modified to your own needs and provides a variety of reports making it easier for a treasurer to give feedback to the PCC. The support offered by the team is sound and given with loads of patience.

No long wait on the phone, efficient and understanding service as usual, all sorted whilst we were on the phone to enable us to make our gift aid claim.

The DD help line is the best ever. They are all experts in this programme which is quite daunting if you are not an accountant and have never used it before.
They are endlessly patient and will not leave you until everything is sorted out.

The telephone support is very good. Quick to answer and the helpers know the system in great detail. They also make things easy.

I am Treasurer for my church accounts and we use Data Developments software for this. We use Donations Co-ordinater for Gift Aid claims & Finance Co-ordinator for our general accounts. I had a problem with not being able to submit our Gift Aid claim online. The blip was due to HMRC upgrading the way we can connect online with them. This was resolved by calling the Support Team at Data Developments who dealt with this politely and efficiently while I was on the phone to them. They even held on the phone to make sure that my online claim to HMRC was successful. I occassionally have to contact the Support Team and they have always dealt with the matter straight away.

Excellent product knowledge and speedy responses

Although I've only needed support fairly in frequently, when something does come up I've always had helpful responses from the team and usually very quick to get back to me.
