Had my tyre repaired at the Queens Park branch off Chamberlayne road w10 yesterday 15/10/19 on arrival i was greeted by a polite member of the team who assisted my needs. unfortunately this didn't continue as another rude member of the team took over, i showed the guy that i had a nail in my tyre and he abruptly replied 'new tyre needed'. i asked if it could be plugged and he replied no in an attitude way, the nice polite member of staff said its ok to plug the tyre and told the rude guy to do it. My tyre was repaired successfully and i was advised that if it leaked i would need a new tyre, i took the advice i was given and went on my way. The tyre shop is always busy and i didn't check the tyre as i presumed they had done it with no problems. Unfortunately when i checked my tyre i noticed that the alloy had been dented on the rim of the wheel they had fixed. i rang the shop up and they told me to bring the car back, i brought the car back and i was told it wasn't their problem and they wasn't taking responsibility for the dent. The polite guy said that he would check the cameras and let me know, when i rang back they said their was no evidence to prove they had marked the alloy and basically been told that they are not at fault and are not taking responsibility for the damage. i have used this tyre shop for many years and i am disgusted by the treatment i received from them. i was told that the rude guy was rude to me because i refused a new tyre and he had to repair it instead. my car has perfect alloys wheels and i pride myself on being a careful driver, they have now lost my custom and friends of mine too. i did not expect to be treated like this as a female it was disgraceful the attitude i was given, i felt intimated and made to feel stupid like i was lying about the wheel. I'm sure they thought i was a dumb blonde female and when i tried to address the incident they brushed me off and dismissed it. i asked to see the cameras and was told it didn't show anything, thats there word against mine. Being that there all male staff as a female i would advise other females to attend with a male as i was so upset by what has happened to my car. i now have to pay out of my own pocket to have the alloy repaired.

The team here are true "mechanics" with vast experience between them. Most have been working there for many years (which says a lot in itself!) and have served our whole family well for the past 15 years or more. They are a friendly bunch who are willing to talk about your car in depth and find the most cost effective solutions, making their pricing very competitive in all departments. I and my family can't rate them highly enough, (and I still have my 17yo car to prove it!) -Jenny R

I’ve been using this garage for tyres, servicing, MOT and general mechanics for 7 years. I had a Mini and now I have an old BMW 5 Series estate. I can not recommend them highly enough. They have always been superb value and lovely to do business with. I’m lucky to have them so local!

Wouldn’t go anywhere else. The guys at the Baldock branch are polite, helpful and knowledgable . I never worry I’ve been over charged or mis sold anything. Would definitely recommend to others.

I had a pleasant experience at Dat tyres. The staff were friendly, helpful, quick and efficient! There was a chap with a hat and tattoos, not sure of his name but he was the most friendly and helpful. Great mechanic! Definitely recommend using Dat Tyres, especially as long as he’s working there.

Appear honest and good for TPMS valves at reasonable prices.

Good, friendly and professional service

Came in 28th for advice on tyre repair. was greeted by a very polite female , after discussion was ask to bring car on carport, repaired my tyre , replaced original wheel , took the time to return spare to boot well. overall service was 10 out of 10. Even stapled receipt to invoice. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND . Best service I have received in some time . Thank you .
