Rubbish delevery I was told that my package would arrive today my 6pm so I have wasted a hole day waiting for a delevery that hasn't turned up FED X is rubbish now I supposed you expect me to wait in all day until 6pm you should have used Parcel force least you can yrack where your parcel is I dont think I will order another item from you in the future if the delevery service is so bad I am very angry wasting a hole day for a delevery that hasn't turned up rubbish service

I purchased both, the Davek Solo and mini. The Solo is terrific, well made, and sturdy. However the mini, for the price, is a bit disappointing. The size is ideal as it fits conveniently in my briefcase and coat pocket, however, it is not easy to open and sometimes collapses unexpectedly. I don’t recommend it.

These are not cheap but the lifetime guarantee and loss protection makes it worthwhile.
They look great and I've had mine for a number of months now. When there's no wind, the umbrella is great...repels the water easily. However, any gust of strong wind, the umbrella flips inside out and you're constantly correcting this. It's a sturdy umbella but the inside joints that expand the umbrella are threaded and easily snapped in strong winds. You can send back a damaged one and purchase another for 50%.
I've still not seen an umbrella that can withstand strong wind and rain.
Overall: 3 stars for the look and style but 2 stars lost as it's like any other umbrella that will break but costs a lot more.

You pay for quality, this is quality top quality

The umbrellas have already had ample opportunity to demonstrate their very high resistance to wind.
The folding umbrella is in use with my wife and so far deserves five stars.
My golf umbrella, during prolonged use in rain, has some little seepage of water along the shaft, hence the four star rating.

I find the standard size too small for one person as I get wet legs and the duo too large for one person. I am 5'11" tall.
When the umberella is wet and part folded for drying indoors it cannot be set down without falling over, unlike most other umberellas I've owned.

There is denying to buy a Davek umbrella is a considered purchase with so many cheaper options in the market place but if you value quality durability and a life times service then the little extra saves in the long run.
