See Maksym Poliuha's review, as my experience was exactly the same. Cancelled my account right after starting the trial, unaware that it was not cancelled because of feedback popup that acts as an obstacle to completing cancellation. This is without a doubt done to intentionally deceive the user into thinking he or she has cancelled a subscription. I detailed my experience, requested a refund on the same day I was charged, as I had used no credits and was furious about the trick they'd pulled on me. Got a reply from "Ashley" claiming I did not meet eligibility requirements. Additionally, this automated response provided the following instructions for cancelling a subscription:

To proceed with the cancellation of your subscription, please follow these steps on davinci.ai

Click on the Profile Icon
Click on Manage Account
Click on Plan from the left panel
Click on the Danger Zone dropdown menu
Click on Cancel Subscription
Finally, select "Cancel Plan".

The steps end with clicking "Cancel Plan". However, following these instructions would NOT cancel the subscription.

Just a slimy, greasy, terrible company who provides no value and only got my business as they are a sponsored search result when I was looking for Google's services and I wasn't paying attention and foolishly proceeded to create an account. It's just an API wrapper. I never leave reviews for anything but this is the little I can do to besides filing a dispute for the charge on my card.

I love this app. It is so responsive and knows what you are asking for. I have used a few other applications and this one so far beats them all. Well done guys.

On September 2, 2026, my DaVinci AI subscription was automatically renewed, resulting in a charge of US$29.99. I did not intend to renew the subscription. As soon as I noticed the charge, on the very same day, I immediately disabled automatic renewal and requested a full refund from the company.

Since the renewal, I have not used any of the credits provided for the new subscription period. My account still shows the full balance of 2,000/2,000 credits, meaning that none of the credits associated with this renewal have been consumed. I have screenshots documenting this.

DaVinci AI's own published Refund Policy expressly establishes specific rules for consumers located in Brazil under Section IV.2(c). According to this policy, if no credits have been used, a consumer located in Brazil may request cancellation or a refund within seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase.

My case clearly meets these requirements: I am a consumer located in Brazil; the renewal occurred on September 2, 2026; I requested the refund on the same day as the charge; and none of the 2,000 credits associated with the renewed subscription have been used.

I immediately contacted DaVinci AI support. Their initial response stated, in generic terms, that “based on our records,” my account did not meet the eligibility criteria described in their Refund Policy. However, the company did not identify which specific eligibility requirement I supposedly failed to meet.

I replied requesting a manual review by a human support agent. I reiterated that no credits had been used, provided a screenshot showing the full balance of 2,000/2,000 credits, and specifically asked the company to identify which requirement under Section IV.2(c) would allegedly make me ineligible for a refund.

After receiving no satisfactory resolution, I sent additional communications to their support team and also submitted another request through the contact form available on their website. I repeatedly requested a refund and a human review of my case.

To date, the charge remains, and the company has not provided any specific explanation as to why my refund request would not be covered by the refund terms that the company itself publishes for Brazilian consumers.

I have been attempting to resolve this matter directly with the company since the moment I discovered the automatic renewal. My requested resolution is straightforward: cancellation of the renewed subscription period and a full refund of the US$29.99 to the original payment method.

I have documentation of the charge, my refund requests, the company's responses, the applicable Refund Policy, and screenshots showing the full balance of 2,000/2,000 unused credits.

I am filing this complaint because the company has failed to process my refund despite my apparent compliance with the conditions expressly established in its own Refund Policy for Brazilian consumers, and because of the difficulty I have encountered in obtaining a substantive human review and a properly reasoned response from the company.

I am seeking a full refund of the US$29.99 charged on September 2, 2026, as well as final confirmation that the subscription renewal has been canceled.
