I bought a Renault Kangoo maxi yesterday. The guys at Daxter were great. They were helpful, quick and efficient. The van was better than I expected of a 2016 plate vehicle - the interior looks like new. Arranging finance for it from an associate took one phone call. I definitely would go back. Thanks to them all - nice people !!

Very pleased with the guys with daxter - provided full service history of the vehicle I was buyying, noticed a small chip on the window and they sent it in for repairs, fitted with new tires and a wash no extra charge. Took about a week including screen repair until the car was delivered to my front door. Would recommend them!

They sorted me out with a smashing run-about van, very professional. Nice people, nothing too much trouble.

After weeks of searching for a small van, we finally found it at Dexter Auto. It took us a few hours since we call them until we went home with the van. The staff hold the van for us to see it without paying any upfront fees. We are very happy with the purchase, a newly small van with low milage and an affordable price. Staff were very proffesionals and working together in the very best interests of the customer.

Went there today to view a mini clubman
and asked them if they would give me a price for mine
The gentleman did not seem interested even before he looked at my car a mini cooper 2012
He offered me a price well below all other dealers then called over 2 other men to look and hear the engine, they spoke in their own language between themselves, then told me they could hear a clicking sound and that the timing chain had gone and that it could just blow up at any time !!!
Thankfully I used my judgement and left the garage.
I drove home and popped into my local garage where I get my car serviced and Mot’d where I was told, it was highly unlikely that a timing chain would go when my 12 year old mini had only done 40,136 miles, however he listened and it appears that it is fine,
The gentleman also told me that they had just paid £1200 to replace one in a mini
When I asked my garage how much to replace and was told it’s £350 for the pack and £400 labour, so perhaps they need to change the garage they use.
I have now exchanged my car with no questions asked for a much better price
I would suggest if you visit this garage you go with a man or someone who knows about cars as they certainly thought I was stupid and gullible
Sadly if they can lie about my car then maybe the car I was interested in was not as it seemed
I am not putting you off from dealing with this garage but just be very cautious

We were very pleased with the great service that we received at Daxter Autos. They were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
We travelled for over 4 hours to get a really great car at a good price.
