Our Philosophy

At Daylesford, we’re dedicated to growing, producing and cooking seasonal, organic food. It must be fresh, and full of flavour, packed with the many vitamins and minerals that come from natural food, picked and eaten at its peak.

As part of a mission to reverse the industrialisation of our food and the pollution of the land that nurtures it, we practise organic, sustainable framing with far less pesticides and herbicides on our crops. We do not use artificial growth promoters and hormones on our animals, and maintain the highest welfare standards.

Above all, we believe that when people eat natural, organic food, they can taste the difference. It’s a chain of goodness that begins with healthy soil, and finishes with healthy animals and people.

Our Farmshops

From high-quality larder staples to indulgent treats for special occasions, our farmshop shelves are full with fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables from our organic Market Garden, artisan bread made by hand in our own Bakery, award-winning cheese from our Creamery and fresh organic meat from clover-rich pastures.

Our Homewares collections are made by makers who are as passionate about sustainability, quality materials and elegant design as we are to create one-of-a-kind items for your homes and gardens, from the softest linens to the signature scents of our home fragrance range.

Our Cafés

Our organic cafés are the natural showcase for what we do on the farm. Here, our chefs make our produce the star of each plate, with seasonally changing menus and daily specials highlight what’s good to eat right now.

Hi, just to let you know, the eggs weren’t very good, so we had to throw them away. The yolks were very runny, broke easily, and they didn’t taste right.

I come from a farming background, so I know what fresh eggs should be like. Unfortunately, these were not up to standard.

Ordered a box for £40 and was let down…

Ordered a box for £40 and was let down and order was cancelled 😡 why advertise it when apparently you ran out of things to put in it I find that very strange!!!!’

Thank you for ordering one of our Zero Waste Boxes, your order helps us to ensure that we tread lightly on our planet by keeping our food waste to a minimum.

Unfortunately, the Zero Waste Box you selected was not available for your chosen delivery date. This item is subject to availability according to seasonal gluts, surplus stock, and supply chain factors. Recently, our “waste” stock levels have been depleted meaning we cannot fulfil any further Zero Waste Box orders at this time. While we apologise for any inconvenience caused, we hope you agree that this is good news in terms of food waste and sustainability.

We therefore processed a refund for this. We do encourage you to try reordering your Zero Waste Box for a date in the future.

We buy a lot of produce and bought all of our Christmas food from Daylesford and was extremely impressed with the quality and difference of the turkey in particular. Also every time we visit we’re impressed with the staff and their knowledge.

This is 2 years that I have tried to…

This is 2 years that I have tried to order traditional mince pies. Always the same story you can’t sent as they will take to long. Mince pies are not frozen.
They also sit on shelves. So I can’t understand why you can’t send them to my home. Royal Mail is an excellent service.

We ordered the Mushrrom and truffle pizza but got the 4 cheese pizza with onions and mushrooms added on top.
Neither my wife nor myself like blue cheese but were confused as to what we had received until we had already eaten 25%. We mentioned it to the waiter who stated this is what we asked for and walked away.

My client loved the hamper however if…

My client loved the hamper however if there are fresh is not items in stock it would be lovely if supplemented items (not refunded to purchaser as was the case) for the value of items not in stock to be added to the hamper to ensure the client receives the size of hamper selected.

I had an extremely negative and…

I had an extremely negative and unhelpful experience with a male staff member at the location across from Chelsea Cloisters. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. We asked a few simple questions before placing our order, and his responses were unnecessarily rude and dismissive. It completely put us off and made the visit unpleasant. Definitely not the kind of service you'd expect or hope for.

This was absolutely perfection for me

This was absolutely perfection for me. From aesthetics, service,quality, taste…all of the best things rolled into one. It was my last stop before flying out and it left me with a huge smile on my face. Not to mention I took carryout for my flight too. I will be back and will recommend to everyone!
