I bought a case of 12 - 6 Pale Ale and 6 lager. I've decided to reduce my alcohol intake and was hoping this would be any easy way to do so. Unfortunately it's not going to help at all as they are ter... See more

Was tempted by the advertising but I'm afraid this alcohol free beer is not for me. I bought 12 cans of the pale ale and lager and have to say that neither tastes like any beer I've had before, and both also have an unpleasant aroma. Won't be buying any more.

Awful
I had this earlier in 2024, and was quite surprised how I enjoyed it. So when I saw the offer I quickly bought, despite the relatively higher cost than other non-alcoholic beers. However both the lager and pale ale are undrinkable - flat, taste like rotting veg, and a terrible aftertaste. Can't be salvaged with lemonade. Clearly something has changed in the recipie since I had it earlier in the year or something. Very disappointed.

Buy if you enjoy a chemical taste
I tried the tropical, pale ale and lager. In fact I bought 40 cans at a weak moment, thinking I was getting a bargain.
The pale ale and tropical taste like chemical molasses. Undrinkable. Not beer.
The lager is marginally better. But not pleasurable to drink. I emailed them and they said they were sorry I didn’t enjoy but no refund on return because the issue was ‘taste’.I only wish I had read these reviews 1st.

Tried days pale ale for the first time
Tried days pale ale for the first time, and really enjoyed it. It's got a nice malty taste with slight bitterness and a slight grapefruit back taste. Really enjoyable 0% beer.

Sorry, but not for me.
Unfortunately, this 0% pale ale is (for me) not great. It has an unpleasant yeasty aroma and an odd herby taste.
This review from someone who has been drinking 0% ale and lager since 2020 an a previous ale enthusiast.
Not knocking it, but I think the brewers would appreciate an honest review.

Tasteless and overhyped
I’ve been buying the Pale Ale for a while now, and although I didn’t really find the taste that great, if I had a dash of lemon, it would be drinkable and I knew that I was being healthy with the low calorie, 0% alcohol.
So, I was excited to try the Tropical IPA which they’ve been hyping up for the last couple of months. As somebody who likes hazy IPAs and hoppy citra beers I have to say this by far the worst ‘beer’ I’ve ever tasted.
Given the repeat business, and the fact that I had drunk one can and found it tastes terrible - I got in touch with them and asked for the beer to be returned. They say that they can’t return/ refund based on taste.
I’ve been a bit lazy, not trying other 0% alcohol beers, but Days’ response has motivated me to cancel my subscription and find an alternative.

Got the mixed pack of 12
Got the mixed pack of 12. Having recently got into the zero alcohol lagers I was really looking forward to this and ordered some. Unfortunately the lager is awful, there’s no taste to it and the smell from it once poured is shocking. It makes it undrinkable really. As others have said, rotting vegetables comes to mind. Pale ale is ever so slightly better but not by much. I thought it may have been my pouring glasses but it’s not and I don’t want to be holding my nose when drinking beer. Gutted as I was looking forward to this.

Only tried the lager
Only tried the lager. Tastes a bit like a glass of water thats been left on the side during a house party and only dicovered the next afternoon. Its kind of watery with an unpleasant vague taste of sewage and smells a bit like a long lost twiglet. Still drank all 4 cans cause 6 quid is 6 quid but wont be going back for more.

Don't believe the hype on social media
Don't believe the hype on social media, this is watery and doesn't taste like beer at all. Very disappointing.

I read the hype and gushing reviews on how good Days drinks are so thought I would give the larger a try.
I am sceptical when everything appears positive so was really shocked when I tasted the larger. It was like carbonated water.
I thought maybe I had a duff batch so gave it a second try and the taste or lack of it was just the same.
Asked my wife to taste it and she asked me what flavoured water it was.
I am sure some love it, but not for me.
If you are thinking of buying some get a 4 pack from Waitrose as it will save you spending £20+ through their website in case like me it doesn't work for you,

IPA not good.
IPA.
Very disappointing. Overly fruity, and a step back in time. Has that old Kaliber taste.
AF IPA can be done well. Recently had the GRITCHIE Brewery AF Loreless IPA, which is amazing. Sadly they’ve closed their doors.

Legends
I think firstly I want to say I’m gobsmacked at some of these reviews. I’ve been using days a while now on subscription and its been flawless which I’ve made clear before in previous reviews.
It comes on time, packaged very well and tastes good. You’re also notified with the order coming up incase you don’t the next box so soon. On the flip side you can request a quicker order.
Today my beers arrived for my wedding after my partner had written to the owner. Beers for my wedding…. what legends! Legendary company, and a high quality product. I love days!
Almost like flavored water
Well after drinking Heineken 00 for the last few years I was told that a new product was on offer Days Lager, at a much higher price, however I gave it a go but the taste is not impressive, everyone near me had a taste but not impressed, possible needs more body, but hey it might suit some.

Lager tastes horrible
Lager tastes horrible, another sucker they’ve got through marketing but certainly won’t be a repeat customer. Smells off and then the taste is like rotting cabbage
Terrible beer and customer service
Terrible beer. Flat within seconds. Taste is not great but can’t drink FLAT beer. Contacted customer service and they refuse to collect and refund. STAY AWAY from this terrible company.

Bought a mixed pack of pale ale and lager.
The pale ale is really nice, however the lager is shocking, tastes like old washing up water, crossed with rotting vegetables.
Be aware they don't offer refunds on taste. There customer service is quite blunt as well. Basically if you buy the lager and don't like it, there answer is tough luck.
Really bad cabbage/turnip smell when…
Really bad cabbage/turnip smell when you put it to your nose. I tried a can and gave one to my Dad. We both threw them away. It's the worst 0% I've tried by some margin.
I got sucked in by the Instagram campaign, I should have read the reviews first!
Avoid
Similar story to those reported above - sucked in by the testimonials and the marketing.
Bought 6x Pale Ale & 6x Lager bottles and they are both absolutely horrible - lager: horribly malty, pale ale - inexplicably and overly fruity.
Well below Lucky Saint & Corona Zero
My own fault
My own fault, pulled in by the marketing and discount offer. Of course taste is subjective but for me the pale ale has a distinct grapefruit flavour, something I strongly dislike and the lager was reminiscent of cabbage water, not at all pleasant. Now I have 10 cans I don't want.
