Unable to choose my own Pin
As of right now, July 2026, I am mostly satisfied. However, a big NO for me is the inability to choose my own debit card pin. Their system auto-generates one for you. I think this is absolutely ridiculous. They say it's for security purposes. What's the difference in a computer picking a pin and a responsible person picking a pin? Nothing. So, it's not for security purposes. It's just a control the customer mechanism. I haven't decided yet if it's a deal breaker but I am fuming about it. So far, customer service has been good and everything else has been going well. The app is decent. I did notice that a few things don't show up on the app, but will from a browser. Like card settings shows a blank page for me. I'm sorry but I am trying not to be pissed off about not being able to choose my own pin. Who's remembering some random numbers a computer gave you? I choose my pins very meticulously. This messes with my flow. May change to a 3 star rating later.

My problem was a problem in that DCU created
My problem was a problem in that DCU stopped sending me VISA card fraud protection alerts and my card was blocked without me knowing. So, while I had good service, the problem was a DCU problem. Similarly, my last issue was my VISA card deactivated, again without my knowledge. I had reported potential fraud, which was resolved by the vender weeks before the card was suddenly cancelled without notice. This is particularly troubling, because we are often travelling relying on the card while abroad.

I was having difficulty with a change in account information for Verizon, Not sure whether I could edit the Verizon account, or, if not, how to proceed with a new account with the same merchant. The representative was patient and thorough, while letting me work through the syncing issues with Verizon. She was not detered when I got error messages, and we worked together to find the solution. She saved my sanity, which I brought into question as I was trying to figure out the labyrinth of things I needed to do to get the new account info to work, Kudos to her for hanging in there with me. I felt we were PARTNERING in finding the solution
