As a novice investor, had to use DealMaker to reserve stock for purchase when it would become listed. DM helps to facilitate data gathering for the investment. However, DM did not gather the data that was actually needed, and I was informed that I had completed all that was necessary. As a consequence my investment was canceled. (Actually, I recall submitting the specific information, but can no longer find any of the completed documents on the DM site.)

I can see no reason why DM would not have gathered the needed information especially when dealing with a wide range of investor experience and skill levels in an environment where there are many time critical actions needed. Very frustrating process.

Kudos, however, to customer service staff who respond promptly and with customer concern.

Garbage platform. I wasted thousands to set up an account only to find out that they dont actually find you investors. They automate SOME legal stuff and paperwork....I had to do everything to try to push my own investors towards using dealflow. These guys dont help you raise capital, they are glorified paper pushers. They are just another crowdfunding platform.
