Likely to be a Scam
The Service advertised 7 days free trial and I attempted cancelling the subscription the same day I signed up because it was not what I needed. However, the site continuesly returned error when tried to cancel. "Cancellation failed. Please contact support."
After contacting the customer support on 20th April 2026, the reply was:
"Your access ended on 19/04/2026, 3:13 pm. You will not be charged again as your payment setup was incomplete and no charges were made.
We cannot process cancellation requests via email, phone, or social media. All cancellations must be completed online through your account at (site) account. Only cancellations completed through your online account portal will be recognized."
When I ask to close my account:
" You can manage your account at (site) account. Inactive accounts are automatically deleted in accordance with our data retention policy and applicable regulations."
But there was no option to close the account.
Then a payment of £839.88 was attempted, SO, I emailed them again saying:
" Thank you for your info, but a payment was attempted today at my card, despite the previous confirmation email of payment would not be attempted."
So, they replied saying:
"According to our records, your trial period ended on 26/04/2026, 3:02 pm. As the subscription was not canceled before the trial concluded, a charge was attempted for the outstanding balance. We will continue attempting to collect the outstanding balance of £839.88. Please ensure your payment method has sufficient funds, or visit account to update your payment method and manually pay your outstanding balance. Multiple failed payments can negatively impact your credit score, which may make it difficult to obtain mortgages, change jobs, or engage in financial transactions."
So, I had to cancel my bank card and get a new one.
Suggestion:
1- please fix the online system, so customers can cancel subscriptions on the website (if that's your policy)
2- Do not provide wrong information, if the account are due to be charged then state as so. Avoid Misinformation.
3- Consider changing your policy, if you have system issues, then it lies with you to cancel subscriptions on customers behalf.
