Dears Pharmacy & Travel Clinic - Oxgangs Reviews 11

I went for an ear cleaning, having found the pharmacist highly capable in the past. This time it was mixed, with two new pharmacists. One was capable, the other not. The incapable one treated my ears first and declared my right ear 'clean as a whistle', while I needed to treat the left with oil drops longer. Two weeks later the second pharmacist found the right ear was not clear, so cleared it. The left ear still needed more drops, now ith bicarbonate of soda. A week later, the first incapable pharmacist treated the left ear and declared it 'clean as a whistle.' I said the hearing was strange. She dismissed it and sent me packing. The left ear is still badly blocked, and I no longer trust Dears to do ear cleaning.

Perhaps the most rude shop staff I’ve ever encountered, they actively walk away when you step into the shop.
Not only rude, totally incompetent, lied to me that my medication was in, another member of staff told me it wasn’t and to return for a 3rd time.
Fortunately another member of staff overheard this and made it up for me on the spot.

Again closed and no weekly meds, but tomorrow I will have today's taken off me? I am on fentanyl patches and ran out on Monday, so who do I blame both Dears and my Doctors surgery? 3x Ordering patches and still nothing. I was meant to get them last Tuesday? What a company, you go into the Oxgangs shop and ask for the pharmacist, and get a choice of two. Another shop must be missing theirs. Oh and the tablets they took from my daughter would have done me tonight and tomorrow, now I will have to purchase them from the local dealer who is always there when needed. Unlike, Dears.

My wife and I have visited the pharmacy on many occasions and have always found the staff friendly and helpful.in stark contrast to other local pharmacies, phone calls are always dealt with in a helpful manner. We would single out your pharmacist Alison for special praise and our thanks for having helped us clarify our status with our local GP Practitioner - she is a credit to your organisation. All the staff at Oxgangs Broadway, Edinburgh are very kind and helpful. Always ready to help in any way. The delivery service is great and man is always very nice.
